Shelf life of eyelash gel

I have a bottle I got last month and it looks like the picture, however I did a swap on another forum and the one I got is a darker color, but no weird smell or anything, so I am wondering if it might be bad/how long the shelf life is on it.

As long as it doesn't smell it is probably fine. I would use it past a year, but not much past that. There is always the possibility of some variation in color with natural products.
