Look of the Week discount sets

Post by extemter » Thu Mar 10, 2011 4:04 pm

I just noticed the new Look of the Week section: "Each week we come up with a new color combo and list it here at a discount!"

This week is Irish Eyes: Rodeo, Superfly, and Grassroots Green for $11.50.

Karen, when does the Look of the Week change each week?

I would love to know how to do the look.... where to put what eyeshadows... I have all of the colors but would love to know how to apply them!

You beat me to it! DH got home early tonight as a surprise- so we snuck out to dinner before I had a chance to post.

Yes, it's a little experiment we're trying- I haven't completely fleshed out the details quite yet. I just woke up this morning, and thought it sounded like a fun thing to do, so I went for it. That's an intro price because it's sort of an idea that needs to evolve over the next few weeks. I do think a card with application instructions might be good to add- good call on that one.

I'm hoping I can wrangle Jen, Susan, Thea and Val into doing FOTD's because we all have different tastes so it will give us a nice variety eventually. We'll probably run them Friday to Friday like the GWP's.

The look today is Rodeo in the inner corner, Superfly on the lid, and Grassroots Green as the crease and liner color. I've been really into Superfly lately- it's just fun.

Comments, and suggestions are super duper welcome!

I love the idea a lot! Instructions are super welcome, maybe several photos highlighting the steps?

For example - first we apply Rodeo - and a pic with only Rodeo applied and so on.

Will you accept make-ups from the customers?

That's really great, nice to see a whole look with colours that I might not normally go for. I would definitely check in every week (haha not that I already don't ;) )

No need for it to be limited to the eyeshadows! I'm thinking that after the Bombshell kit, it could be great to see some complete looks with liners, blushes, lippy, etc. Not necessarily a whole face kit (best kept under $20ish for the sake of customs values) but rather some unusual pairings or perhaps seeing how the face powders look? (I'm thinking Date Bait, Black Dahlia and Black Cherry liner would be sensational).

...and I dare say the SN HQ ladies could have a hoot on a slow afternoon devising looks! ;) 8-)
