Help with lip scrub

Post by fjernsyn » Fri Feb 18, 2011 1:55 am

Any tips on using it? I can't keep it from falling off my lips. Works great after finally coaxing a few good lip smooges with it, but by then there are bits on the floor and bits in my mouth. Thanks!

I ususally just live with the fallout.

I wonder if you put on a good coat of a sticky balm first, so that the scrub has somewhere to stick. Water won't do it as it will dissolve the sugar. Do you have any oil? Even a pre-coating of olive oil might help.

I use it over the sink, and just sort of smoosh my lips together. If it ends up in your mouth- no worries, everything in it is edible.

I don't have any good tips. I love the smell of it though. I just make a bit of a mess too. I think I will try it in the shower next time.

All good tips, thanks! I think the shower might work doubly well because I think it's more "distributable" when it's warmer.
