My visit to SN's workshop

Post by victorianbutterfli » Sat Dec 04, 2010 9:33 pm

Hello my fellow makeup addicts! I wanted to write to first thank Karen for letting my friend and I revisit her workshop. Thank you so much for putting up with us, sorry we were there for sooo long. We had a blast, and I'm already planning my colors for tomorrow. I'm sure you already know which one I'll choose, thank you so much for making it! Secondly, I wanted to come and let my fellow makeup lovers know that I've seen the second half of the holiday release. It is fabulous!! So, without stealing any of Karen's thunder, i'll tell you a little bit about it. I saw MANY new eyeshadows, great colors coming. I saw some new lip balms, they smelled and tasted great. There were some new buttercreams, and if I understood correctly, some of them are re-releases There are some other things, but I don't want to spoil the surprise. Karen has been working very, very hard getting this collection done, and I have to say it was well worth the wait. Get your credit cards ready, and spend, spend, spend. You won't be disappointed.
* oh, and sorry Kookith, she was all out of Pink Twink.

I'm glad you had a great time visiting the shop, and thanks for the teaser about the second half of the holiday release. I can't wait to see what Karen and her staff has come up with!

I had a blast hanging out with you and thank you so much for the flowers! You're the only true makeup addicts that live within a comfortable driving distance, so hanging out with you and your buddy is always something I look forward to!

You truly are cool, Karen! I still can't believe that you made that color for me. What makeup company would ever have done that. I tried Roam today, and it absolutely rocks. I'm gonna try it foiled tomorrow to see if it stands out more. It can be foiled, right? Thanks for all your hard work. I know that my friend and I love having you so close. Your products are always perfect. Oh, and I tried the cleansing conditioner, and I LOVE it. Can't wait for you to put it into your 8oz containers. It was definitely a bummer about the perfume sticks, but I still think you should put it into a tub (like the cuticle balm) I know that I would buy it, I don't mind sticking my finger in it. I could always use a q-tip. Bummer it didn't harden up enough. Maybe you could offer it as a gumball, see if people like it? Glad you're finally getting some R and R. You really deserve it, this Holiday release went above and beyond. Cheers to you!

Aww VB, you remembered about the Pink Twink <33333 It's okay, I'll try to swap for it. Thanks so much for the lovely thought, I'm really touched :o

I'm so super envious that you live so close to SN, in my head I imagine it's like a visit to Santa's workshop

Karen,

I will say that I was one of the ones looking forward to the solid perfumes, and with all of the goodies you released, I didn't even miss them. I would be up for a tin and definitely up for trying it as a gumball (although I completely understand if you choose not to do that).

Thanks for such a wonderful holiday collection!!!

Kookith I tried. All she had left was about a quarter of a teaspoon. She needed that just in case she makes it again. About visiting, it kinda is like going to santa's workshop. It's so much fun to just go through everything, trying colors. Happy shopping, try not to break the bank!
