black cherry or clear cream liner

I just bought Prowl and love it! To add a bit more staying power would you recommend using black cherry underneath or clear cream liner?

I think any eye color loose or pressed needs a primer of some sorts. I think the clear is for a foil look and it would work with all your e/c. Karen had a eye primer but now I see it is gone. Not sure if it OOS or what. HTH
