I need help
I too am new to SN and am hoping someone can please help me with my first order. I have been wearing EDM in a light warm butter/light olive combo. Not sure it was right for me but i wore it anyway. I also wore the golden light.
I am wondering what to order from SN. I am not a fan of over the top sparkle but if there is something that is very subtle may consider it. A friend sent me a climax sample and Ilove that so hopefully it is right for me. She also sent me Jamie but i have misplaced it before using.
Thanks to all who offer their help. I can't wait to try it. BTW I am a natural kinda girl but can't go without eyeliner (helps fill in my thin lashes). Please forgive me for posting these photos with no makeup.

Re: I need help
Your pictures are perfect! Also the information that you like a natural look helps me greatly! I am not sure which of our products interest you, but I will just run with it!
If you are interested in foundation, I think you need to sample Warm Gold and Buttery Gold in the color bases. The white base is a matter of personal preference for the amount of coverage you seek. There is a small scoop that comes in the foundation kits and foundation sample kits. I am thinking you will be around a 1 scoop dark base to 6 White scoops. It will vary a little from that depending on the coverage you choose. The heavier bases usually require more color base to achieve the same depth as the lighter base.
For Blush, Climax is a great universal blush. Jamie would have been a good one for you, too. Others that might interest you for a natural look would be Flirt and Maybe Baby.
For eyes, I would suggest Aztec on the lid (a medium brown semi-matte), and Vanilla for crease to brow. There is a bit of a shimmer to Vanilla, but it will brighten your eyes and make them look more open. A more matte choice in such a light color will tend to make your eyes look 'more experienced' than you will want. I also recommend Mahogany cream liner, if you are interested in trying that product.
For finishing, since you don't want much of a sparkle, try Perfecting Powder. It is sheer and trnaslucent. I really think you ought to try a sample of Tempt Tryst golden finishing powder for special occasions!
For a gloss, it is hard to go wrong with Breathless. It is a pinkish nude color. If you like brownish nudes, Birthday Suit might fit the bill.
If there is anything I missed that you are specifically interested in, let me know.

Re: I need help
house kitten,
Hi, your coloring looks very similar to mine, and I wear 1 warm gold to 5-6 of the white, usually 1-6 in the winter, and 1-5 right now. Occasionally in the winter I need to mix just a very slight amount of Ebony in to mellow out the yellow. I have both Climax and Flirt, also Jamie. All of them work for me, but on most days I tend to grab Flirt, and it is my go to blush when in doubt.
For PP I use either the Lovelure or the Tempt Tryst, but usually use the Tempt Tryst. All of the Geo Collection will give you a natural look, but you will definately want to grab either Vanilla or Whipped Cream, to use as a highlighter, that little bit of shimmer makes abig difference for those of use who have experienced eyes as Jen put it. While you are at it consider getting Scallop Pink, Beached Plum and Caperberry, they are designed to go with the Geo Collection, and that little bit of color is a fun change on occasion, without looking out of place.
As you can tell, I second Jen's recommendations, they look to be right on.

Re: I need help
Thanks everyone. I love all the choices you suggested. I will try your recommendations but maybe first should tell you when I said I wanted a natural look, I just don't want to "twinkle". I had a meeting one day and the girl has some much sparkle I just couldn't concentrate. The glitter was very distrasting and in huge pieces on her face. It does not appear that way with this company. I don't mind some which tends to blend but I don't want to look like I am trying out for disney either or making a MAC commercial. Don't let me miss out, if there is something I should try but not part of the natural look please tell me. Karen

Jen,
You would choose the mahogany liner for me? It looks kinda light? It almost appears red colored.

Re: I need help
house kitten,
I did a swatch pic of all the colored Cream liners currently available. Mahogany is not very red (even though it does have a bit of coppery mica in it), mostly a slightly warmish brown. Not twinkly, but it will reflect a slight amount of light. It is a color companion to Chocolate Twinke eyeshadow. Really, you should pick a color that you like!

Re: I need help
How, those are gorgeous! I do like the mahogany and espresso but all all VERY nice. The tarnish looks nice too. Is their a tiny bit of blue in that? I ask because JW Cosmetics sells a gel liner called marasite and it just makes my eyes pop. It seems there is a ring around the outside of my iris that is blue. The marcasite softens my eyes. I was wondering if the tarnish might be like that.
Re: I need help
Tarnish is similar. One thing about our Cream Liners- they are all natural. The pods they come in seem small, but you don't use as much product as the traditional gel liners from JW or BB or Mac. They also need to be set with powder of some kind to make them really last. While they will not last potentially for days like the traditional gel liners do, they should last until you are ready to take them off. For a translucent set, I use Perfecting powder on another eyeshadow brush and just sweep it lightly over. They can also be set with other powdered eyeshadows for interest. It does add an extra step, but I personally feel the natural ingredient quality is worth the extra step.

Re: I need help
Thanks Jen. Can you recommend any mineral liners?
Re: I need help
I am not exactly sure what you mean by mineral liners. Do you mean loose mineral eyeshadows that can be used as liner?
If that is the case, there are so many options. I used Chocolate Twinkle just about all the time before Karen developed the Cream liners (which are also mineral + natural waxes and oils). I also used just about any dark color offered. I like a simple eye. Sometimes just a wash of a lighter color with a brighter liner will do. With your eyecolor, I really think Chocolate Twinkle or Bittersweet, but really any of the darker colors that strike your fancy would work. (Chocolate Twinkle is more neutral Dark Brown and Bittersweet is more golden Dark Brown.) Wild Woman is quite sparkley but close to Marcasite. If you were using it as a liner, it would draw the light to the part of your eye you are trying to emphasize, and not look like distracting glitter. It is good to use shimmer where you want to draw attention.
