Creamy concealer as a primer?
Creamy concealer as a primer?
When we first first first tested an older formula of the creamy concealers, I had the idea that it could work well as a primer too. And, it did- but it was a different formula.
The basic formula concept isn't actually hugely different than the primer we stock on the site. I just tried it this morning, and it's working as well as any other primer I've used. Time will tell- but I also have really dry skin so I'm not a good tester for this one.
Anyone feeling adventurous and want to road test it?

i did that once on a really bad skin day- it worked great- BUT i also don't use primers- it was more one of those things where i started concealing my circles and decided to conceal my whole face... it works with eyeshadow for when i'm feeling lazy and dont feel like grabbing eye fix off the wall.
i still want it in yellow... please

I got desperate enough that I e-mailed Karen about it -- I'm told a yellow & a tan colour will be coming "a little closer to November".Xarata wrote: i still want it in yellow... please

Which formula are you talking about? The firmer gumball one? Or one we have never tried?
I would be keen to try a softer version (I think it would be too hard to get enough out of the one we already have to do my whole face), if it is OK on my horrible, blotchy, acne prone (and even with a little eczema patch by my nose at the moment) skin then it will work for anyone!

I won't mind road testing it! Is it the old gumballs? Or the new concealers?

I'm so sorry for not being more clear- I had this sudden flash of inspiration, and posted while I was in a rush to go make Strawberry Spritz!
It's the current formula that might work as an eye shadow primer if anyone's feeling a little adventurous. I tried it today and liked it quite a bit.
You know I almost never comment until something is in the jar and ready to ship- but new colors- including yellow, are very very close to the top of the list.

Yeah sure, I'll try anything you make lol
Would yellow suit me better than light peach though? I'm wondering what to use on my asian skin...

I'd be keen on a yellow and tan concealer just to see which works better on me (currently 1 BG: 4 Original Ivory: 1/2 Yellow Booster: 1/2 Glow).
Current SN foundation mix: 4 Buttery Gold: 2 Yellow Boosters: 21 Medium Ivory: 8 Original Ivory: 3 Glow
Favourite SN lippies (currently): Darling, Barcelona (Gumball), Menage
Favourite SN blushers: Carnal, Satisfied
