Beach Bunny as an eyeshadow?

Post by kinjali22 » Sat Aug 14, 2010 11:23 pm

I love doing dark bold eyeliner so I like to keep it simple with my eyeshadow.. picking colors that make my eyelid look more open, if that makes sense?

So today, I used beach bunny as an eyeshadow and it was perfect natural coloring on my eyelids! I love the texture as it is finely milled and matte with very subtle sparkles. What color would you say beach bunny is and what SN shadows would be similiar to it? Thanks!

I tried it as an e/s yesterday and I liked the effect too. I don't know what e/s shade is the same... But why don't you want to continue using it? I think it is safe to use on the lids.

It's nice isn't it :) I'm going to continue to use it as an eyeshadow.. But I also wanted to branch out in other colors, like a yellowish nude or taupy nude. I really like these nude, barely there colors as I go crazy with my eyeliner. For reference I am tan, so darker colors on other people are my nude colors :)

If it works go with it! The Mixed Metals, and the Muse Palette colors are all relatively sheer and simple- so there's a nice variety there. The only thing you really have to be careful with on your eyes is blushes with dyes. Those aren't really eye safe, but if you're not allergic to any specific pigment, then you can wear pretty much whatever looks good.

Thanks Karen! I should try more colors from the Mixed Metals collection. I have Papyrus and it is the perfect highlight color and I got Wheat Penny recently in a swap, so I'll try that. I've actually been dying to try this color :)

I wear many cheek colors on my eyes. The Perfecting Glows make wonderful eye colors.
