New Gumballs!

Post by karen » Tue Jul 27, 2010 4:11 pm

So I've been into nail polish a bit lately, and decided to make some manicure type supplies to go along with my budding nail polish addiction. I've just put up gumballs for a Cuticle Balm, and Nail Polish Drying Drops. We made plenty- so they should be available for the next 24 hours or so.

These are the descriptions:
Cuticle Balm grew out of a little side project for my SIL's baby belly. We started with yummy fair trade cocoa butter, and added a lot of incredible, rich oils. I liked the to-die-for chocolate scent and started using it on my hands. It's lovely. The cocoa butter softens and nourishes the skin incredibly well. It may be a bit slow to soak in on some skin- if you find that to be the case just use it at night.

It's also nice on any tough, dry, leathery skin you might have. Elbows, heels etc. Avoid this if you have any nut allergies as shea butter is related to the cashew family.

Ingredients: Rice Bran Oil, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Rosehip Oil, Beeswax, Candelilla Wax, Cranberry Oil, Carnuaba Wax. Flavor- coconut oil infused with vanilla beans.

This is limit one per person.

This is kind of a fun one! These are drying drops for nail polish. It's very similar to something like OPI Drip Dry (in side by side tests it worked just as well or maybe even a bit faster). All you do is add a drop to each nail after you've polished it, and it cuts the drying time about in half. I've tested it with most of the major US polish brands- OPI, China Glaze, Orly, Essie, Zoya, Wet & Wild- and now I need a bit of feedback from you on it. I do use mine in combination with a fast dry top coat- like Poshe or Seche Vite, and I can usually be totally dry in about 10-15 minutes.

One caveat- if it gets UNDER a fast dry top coat- it will cloud it. So, put the top coat on, and then add the drops. They are quite liquid, so we suggest working over a paper towel.

Ingredients: Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone

This is limited to one per customer per order (meaning you can only get one- total).

Have fun!!!

Very cool because I've also gained quite a nail polish addiction lately also. So I bought both the gumballs and some lipglosses I've been eyeing :) Thanks!

Yes, perfect timing with my nail polish addiction just beginning, lol. Unfortunately I then had to add another $30 worth of stuff to the $1.50 of gumballs, lol!
Thanks Karen, I Love gumballs :)

I'd totally get the quick drying drops except my OPI drip dry has been used a grand total of... 5 times. I have about 98% of the bottle left lol.

Awesome stuff! Would there be actual nail polishes eventually?

So far, I like the drying drops. I used them for the first time this morning and my polish did dry faster. It is kinda oily, which I didn't expect, but it works and it also conditions my cuticles. I like it! (Would I be a bad person if I made another order and included it? ;)

I so want to order more than one SF, lol! I have nearly run out of the previous cuticle balm (well, the carrot and pumpkin salve, which I use as a cuticle balm), and I am polish addicted at the moment, so you can never have too many drying drops right? Karen, you'd better bring these out soon, so I can resist!

Oh my goodness! I just received the cuticle balm in today's mail and I promptly used it; I love how it feels, but now all I want to do is lick my fingers! The chocolate scent is so yummy! :)

Love, love, love the cuticle balm! It works far better than anything I have tried. I like that it is not too heavy or waxy and it sinks right in. I am also pleased that the results last. Most of the time the moisture from cuticle moisturizers only last until the next hand washing. And oh my gosh the smell....heaven! This gets two thumbs up from me!

I am also a big fan of the cuticle balm. But Karen can you make it with a differnt scent? I LOVE the smell, but the cocoa(chocolate smell) nauseates my husband, so I can only apply it on the 3 nights he isn't home, and then either use my Hankan oil or my Burt's Bee's the other nights, which is ok. It is just that I like yours better!
