Turns out I did post it after all, DH helped me find it this morning!!

DH says that by the looks of the thread ID number, somehow it got orphaned when the thread was being moved to the pinned official entry thread or something?? As you can see from the date, originally I posted it very early on in the contest thread, before it was an official contest and moved to the "General Makeup Forum".

Voting has been underway for a few days now, so no worries about adding it to the list, but at least I know I'm not quite as absent minded as I thought!

Hah! See, when I posted mine I wasn't sure how many people would be familiar enough with a range of cocktails to be swept away in the deliciousness of it all. Then Tizzylou posted her cocktail inspired collection a little while later and I remember thinking "Well clearly I'm not the only one with a good drink on the brain! Wonder how many of us will end up being inspired by liquor.... "

Um, I totally didn't notice that! Some days I think my brain decided to take a vacation and leave me at home...

It took me forever to decide what collection to vote for, can't imagine changing my vote now. Yeah, I'm one of those people who ran for student council and didn't actually vote for myself because I actually liked my opponent's speech/running platform better. I suppose someone more decisive than me would have an easier time of voting/changing their vote though!

Oh Karen, thank you... I really appreciate you trying! That's one secure poll, not even the site owner can tamper with it! I'm really okay with it, I know it wasn't left out intentionally! To be honest with you, I don't think my entry would have had much impact on the voting anyway, and I'm really okay with that.

I posted my entry before it was an actual contest, it was just pure fun to daydream about for a bit! I think it's so cool you turned it into an actual contest and I don't want the fun to be taken out of it for you or anyone else because of some random software glitch. It really, truly is okay, I'm not mad or upset! No squaring is needed, in the end we all get new products to drool over so we're all winning when you look at it that way!
