Changing things a bit...

This week we're making a few changes. Nothing major, but I wanted to let you know about them. We're changing the paperwork that we include in your packages. Many of you order time and time again, and I know you already have more of the "Guides to Mineral Makeup" than you really need. The reason we include them is because of the FDA. You need a full list of the ingredients you're putting on your skin, and when they can't be printed on a label because of size restrictions I think it's important that it gets included within the shipment somewhere. So, that's why we do it. The change is that they'll be on a smaller sheet. We're also removing the thank you cards for the moment. We are very very grateful for your support, but it's another piece of paper, and we'd like to lessen our environmental footprint as much as possible.

That means that we'll be tucking your free samples into the packing lists that we include with your order- so keep an eye out for them there.

In regards to the 3-gram jars. Starting this week we'll be trying something a little different. I have a few fixes in mind, and we're starting with the easiest one. Please let us know if you have any further issues with them. For the MAC folks I'll be contacting you separately this week.

I have actually thought about the same things, how great that you have been finding an solution to it that works

Do not worry about the thank you card being removed, I actually think it is great you remove them because we really all know how gratefull you are for our business anyway (communicating with us here in the forum, samples and gwp etc )
Removing a piece of card will not make any difference for us regarding this, and saving the paper is great!

What makes a difference for us is supporting a smaller business that thinks about how things can be done in a better way for the environment and for your business, so we can have you around for ever, lol
And that is beneficial for all of us in the end, right? Riiiiiiight?????

The changes sound great! I've got a stockpile of those makeup guides, I always give one to friends when I give them any SN products...that way they know what's in the products! Cutting down on paper is never a bad thing...and will hopefully cut your costs a bit!

I like the cutting down on the mineral makeup guides, they seem such a waste for those of us who order time and again. I really liked the thank you card in my first order though, it just seemed like such a sweet touch. Maybe the text of the thank you card could be added in a smaller font onto the packing list?

Good change!! I'm always a bit worried that I am being annoying by asking that the make up guide bits not be included in my package, but I already have enough lying around, and it's just a big waste if it all just goes in the (recycling) bin.
