EYESHADOW SUGGESTIONS
EYESHADOW SUGGESTIONS
Hi everyone! I would love to hear suggestions on eyeshadows please. I am an eyeshadow newbie so i'm looking for all over 1 color and I prefer to stick with neutral light shades for now.

Re: EYESHADOW SUGGESTIONS
Bare, Boom, Nekkid, and Purr are all good choices. Nekkid and Purr are on the peachy side. Boom is pretty neutral, and Bare is in between.

Nudge nudge, and wink wink are a really great combo. I think they would look good on you.
Re: EYESHADOW SUGGESTIONS
Dark hair and dark eyes? Wow are eyeshadows gonna love you! My sister has that combo and wears just about every color under the sun.
Jen recommended some good ones... Quartzite might be nice too, though it will be a little bit darker than the ones she mentioned, depending on how dark your skin is (hard to tell from the picture).
When you're ready to venture into to a bit of color, I think Breathe will look SO pretty on you! It's a shimmery light purple. Really brightens up the eyes and is perfect as a one color eye look! Butterfly Blue is a pale baby blue with shimmer and would look really pretty too, especially if you have dark blue or brown eyes.

Re: EYESHADOW SUGGESTIONS
Highbeam, everyone needs highbeam. lol. It pairs well with almost anything and looks great by itself.
For color- i really love the vibrants/matte neons- Flame (red) Safety (orange) Canary (yellow) Swamp (bright green) Lagoon (teal) Royal (bright blue) and Vivid (bright purple) though if you wanted some safer colors i'd go with charmed, butterfly, and breathe (a green, a blue, and a purple) for light shimmery washes of color. They're all wearable enough not to need a contour color or a light hand.
My fav golden tan neutrals are quartzite and tailfeather

Re: EYESHADOW SUGGESTIONS
Oh yay, more pictures! You are lovely! I agree with Xarata. I'm wearing Charmed today though, and I already have, love, and mentioned Breathe, Quartzite, and Butterfly Blue...so I'm probably partial.
And I seriously adore Highbeam, it's like a pale, shimmery golden peach and I think it looks good on a variety of skintones.
The vibrant matte colors are SO fun to play with, I gave a set to my sister for her graduation, she seriously rocks them. But, if you're a bit intimidated by strong colorful eyeshadows, warming up with the shades listed above is probably a better bet.
You can work up to the louder colors as your eye shadow addiction...um, I mean, as your comfort level grows.
I can't help with your undertones, I can't even figure out my own really.
I know, helpful, eh?

Re: EYESHADOW SUGGESTIONS
I second Boom and Highbeam.
I am also wondering about Wildcat, Honeymoon.

Re: EYESHADOW SUGGESTIONS
Absolutely PURR!!! Also, Highbeam. Velocity is really pretty, too. You may want to try Sonic or Fire, too. They look pretty on their own, and it is easy to add another color with them, focusing them (Fire or Sonic) on the inner corners to brighten your eyes, and adding a darker color to the edges/crease. I do this on days that I am tired!
