Today I am sick (courtesy of the inlaws- they chose our room in the basement on vacation and ran an uncovered hottub in it all day with the a/c on. booooooo) and it's raining (well, at least the garden is happy) and i don't have to work (yay), so why not play?

*Pardon my unkempt-ness. Like I said I'm sick so i only put on eye makeup(including eye concealer) and used the opportunity to photograph st.tropez on.

Wow, if I could look that sexy while sick... I agree with Lily, the hair is rockin! And now I've really gotta try Silence, I've been looking for a gold color pale enough to highlight without looking like I used gold shadow to highlight with...does that make any sense? :P

Enjoy your day off as much as you can while feeling bleh! Hot tubs in a/c doesn't make much sense to me. But then again, I'm not a fan of public hot tubs...or pools for that matter. Thinking of all those germs gets to me.

And... I'm sicker- grrrr. What started as a sore throat and escalated to a bad cold is now living in my chest. And I sound like a cartoon. Granted, if you had never heard my voice you would probably just assume i have a metropolitan accent of some kind (like the remnants of a new york or chicago accent), but I am from Pennsylvania and trust me, i don't sound like me at all. Such is life. At least DH gets a kick out of it.

GWP colors in golden nude again- sorry i'm on a kick- i'll grab some color soon.

Frankenshine is a kind of brownish goldish green or a greenish brownish gold or maybe a goldish greenish brown? It's dark in the jar but not on- one of those colors that looks different in a swatch than in the jar. I think it was part of this year's fall series of GWP (harvest, harvest moon, frankenshine)

Sounds pretty. I only got harvest of those three, I wasn't such a SN addict back then, lol. Harvest moon sounded gorgeous too.

After seeing the outdoor photo, i decided i had applied beach bunny too heavily and lightened it up some- hence the indoor photo.

Love all your summery looks with those flowers tucked in your hair! You may be ill, but you still look upbeat. :D

Today I was talking to a friend who is in bed with both the flu and pneumonia! :? If you haven't already, you may wanna see the doctor if it goes on much longer, a lot of people don't realize how quick chest colds can turn into bronchitis or pneumonia! Also, sometimes hot tubs vaporize bacteria that can cause respiratory infections. :(

I've had both bronchitis and pneumonia and still been trudging through work...until being grounded by the doctor. One of the worst episodes I didn't have insurance, thankfully after explaining that to the doctor they gave me enough samples for a full course of antibiotics (the prescription was gonna cost $150 to get filled)!

Hope you feel better soon!

I agree with everyone else--even super-sick, you still look super-cute! :D

I also agree with superwahz--you may need to see a doctor. One of the grocery store chains here has a list of medications they will give you free with your prescription, and there are several antibiotics on the list. I don't know if any store does that there, but it is worth checking out. This has definitely helped me in the past year! Take care of yourself!!! ;)
