So far I have tried wish you were here, tart, and satisfied. They are all lovely. I might have another problem after I have tried all the colors I am sampling. I don't know if I will be able to pick any to get in full size. :D

I think we're all too familiar with that problem! The only f/s blush I have is Satisfied because it's the first one I bought (I used up my whole sample of it before any of the others!), but I haven't bought any of the others because I just can't pick which one! Honestly, blushes are a bit of a mystery to me. I can tell which ones look really bad, but I have a hard time choosing which ones look really good with certain colors, so I end up putting a favorite one on and hoping it'll work. :? It's lazy, I know, but they are just all too pretty I can't decide what to do with them!

Bet Madison worn as a blush would look really pretty on you given the other colors you like. I've worn it twice last week, such a fresh summery color!

Thanks, I will put madison in my wish list. I am planning on another order at the end of the month. I don't think that will help me with choosing which ones to get in full size though. :D

Well, I'd say get one warm peachy blush (I'm partial to Satisfied, but Wish You Were Here would be good too), one cool pink blush (I'd say Tart, but again, I'm partial), one more neutral/almost brownish blush (something like Cider or Bronze Beauty, looks great with a tan) and pick up a few samples of deeper plummy blushes for special occasions (like Desert Plum or Carnal). The blush samples through SN last a while, so for a color you wouldn't be wearing every day, one is gonna last long enough for you to decide you can't live without it...or you can. ;)

Once you have one in each category then you can start fleshing out your collection, you know, when you need that extra item to hit $30.

That's good advice. I am wearing bronze beauty today. It's really pretty too.

I am working on getting my birthday order together. I am going to get 2 full size blushes. Right now I am thinking bronze beauty for sure and then either be mine or crinoline. I have some more blush samples in my cart as well.

Is afterglow about as dark as climax or satisfied?

I don't have Afterglow, but I have Climax, Satisfied, and Nuance. In the pic on the site, Nuance is darker/more pigmented than Afterglow. On my hand, Nuance and Satisfied are about equal in depth, with Satisfied being a bit stronger because of the shimmer and pinker tone. Satisfied is definitely darker than Climax! It's Karen's interpretation of what NARS Orgasm blush would look like amped up! No clue exactly how Climax and Afterglow compare though.

So...given all that, I'm gonna say the order of pigmentation would be Climax as the lightest, Afterglow in the middle, and Satisfied as the darkest! But again, that's only a guess. ;) Hope that helps!

Yes that does help. I was thinking it might be nice to get afterglow since it doesn't have the fd&c colors. I don't think I have looked at nuance. I will check it out. My cart keeps changing who knows what I will end up with. I'm sure it will be nice though.

Mmmm, yes, I'm gonna have to try a sample of Afterglow, to see how it compares without the fd&c colors. Nuance is very much a peach color IMO, so if you wear peach blushes well, it'll be great! If you don't though...it may end up looking orange. It's more peach than Satisfied is. It would be good to sample though!

When I'm looking to place an order it takes me days of debating to decide...or if it's a big order, weeks. :P In the end you'll either love what you get, or swap it to make room for more!

Or, post about it and I'm sure people will give you some tips on how to wear it to work better with your skin. Seems like because there are so many layers of color in Karen's shadows, something as simple as a different colored eye liner or highlight color can change the whole look and make a shadow look totally different than it did before! It's magic I tell ya... ;)
