So, I'm finally curious about this eye shadow...
I have about every other purple/plum/violet/lavender the site offers, and am wondering if someone could compare Rollick to, say, Aubergine, or Taffeta?
TIA

You need these. Rollick and Romp. (Actually, all of Thea's colours) She's a clever cookie, that lass. These are not like anything else, it's like they belong to a whole new category of finish. They've got a touch of finesse about their textures. They've got a balance of pearl and shimmer without being distinctly belonging to either category. They can be liners or soft washes, vividly bold yet delicate at the same time. She's taken colours that only a teenager could pull off and made them so wearable that a crinkly 35 year old like me looks smouldering in them. They're insanely pretty and so wearable that there's not a whiff of 1980's throwback about them. That young lady has serious talent.

I received Romp as a freebie sample (baggie sample) and I really like it. It's a deep purple and would look great as a liner or in the crease or smoked out. I might have sent it off to someone though (can't remember since I have so many e/s!)

If you can't do bold, and I really can't, it looks great smudged around the eye in a soft wash, slightly heavily applied closer to the lashes like a liner. Then plaster on lashings of black mascara to pull it together. It's like a colourful smokey eye but because it's not a dark look, not some heavy grey base for example, it's still fresh and interesting without being so bold as to make the wearer self-conscious.

I asked for Romp as my free e/s for my gumball order...
Figured I should get Rollick as well! I guess it will be my next free shadow then! Good to know!

It sounds like I really need both of those. Maybe I just need all the Thea colors. I need to go look at them again.

Yesterday, I used Fleur as an overall wash, Rollick as a crease color.
I also used coal as liner and vanilla as highlight.
Overall look is an icy purple. Good if you are a purple fan like me!
