Well, I'm not a redhead but I think Black Dahlia is so unique and special everyone should try it. I don't know how to describe it. It's like there are so many subtle colors in it that it picks up your natural beauty and makes your cheeks flush and eyes look made up. It's my secret "don't feel like messing with putting anything on but still want to look polished" weapon. If that makes sense. I think Lily said the same thing, so you have a fair blond and a pale brunette who love it.superwahz wrote:Have you tried Black Dahlia?? I have my eye on it. I can do plums much better than I can do reds and have been looking for a darker plum color!
I almost never wear dresses, didn't even wear one for our wedding...so when I put one on boy does that get attention!
Ha, coming from you!feyith wrote:Of course, Lily looks gorgeous in anything, so I don't know if she counts.
I think it's the type of red hair, in combination with skin tone and lip pigmentation. Though my hair has been dark red before, it's usually a more coppery red with vibrant red and orange streaks. My foundation blend is buttery gold/olive/ebony and the lavender correcter to keep things from turning orange, since most colors go orange my skin--and pink on my lips. I've yet to find an SN red that doesn't go pink on me and the pinks, wow are they pink. So things like Rare Berry really clash with the combo I have going on.clen3k wrote:I disagree with Rare Berry clashing with red hair.I have henna-red hair, and Rare Berry is an almost brownish red on me. It's kinda MLBB shade for me, and very subtle. Depends on the pigmentation of your lips though!
