I realized I did not answer about swabbing the surface of the cream liner with alcohol.....if you want to continue to use them at some point, it would probably be a good idea. Also clean the lid and edge where it shuts.

If you do decide to rebuy as an added precaution, you can always cut small chunks out to use, and then throw it out after a few weeks. Save your old pod.

I am the queen of milia in the eye area (lid, undereye and along eyelash line). I do think bacteria can cause it, but for me it is mostly rich products. If I use the SN Cream Liner for a few days in a row or a really creamy pen (drugstore line) I will get it. I tend to dry line w/ shadow or use maybelline expertwear (the one in the red packaging that doesn't smudge or come off for anything...takes be back to highschool in the late 80's-early 90's) and I am fine. I've either left them alone and they went away after awhile or I picked them out!

The few times I've had styes, they've hurt a little bit or felt itchy. I used a hot water or a milk compress and they went right away.

The one in the pic seems to have popped when I looked in the mirror it seemed to have a head so I picked...I know, not supposed to...but I couldn't help it :? but something came out of it, like a little hard something...tmi sorry. Hopefully that one will go away and I just have to see what happens with the other eye :(
A little white/ivory colored lump? Yeah, that's how mine are that have come off! Kind of odd to look at... They happen most often in areas that don't exfoliate well, I never get them in areas that I use scrubs and such on. Unfortunately, I can't think of any good way to exfoliate the eye area (the skin is too sensitive and thin) other than the washcloth thing (which doesn't do much). There's nothing I've ever found that stops them from forming. I have noticed though that really rich products cause more to show up (I had to stop using eye cream). I guess it's because rich things tend to worsen build up.

Far as I know, milia are not caused by bacteria like styes are, but to be safe I'd swab everything with alcohol and regularly spray your brushes...that's what I do! Besides, keeps everything clean in case you end up with an actual stye! :P

Yeah, I'm pretty clean when it comes to my brushes. I spray them after every use with an alcohol based spray and wash them all once a week. I took alcohol to all my cream liners last night. I think I will give the under eye area a rest from the cream liners for a few weeks and see what happens. The bump in the pic seems to be going away, so I'll see what happnes with the other one.

One really easy way to get rid of a stye (if that is what it is! I cant tell sorry) is to rub a white gold/ gold wedding band over the stye a few times. I used to get them heaps when I was little and my mum would rub her wedding band over it. Would do it one night, then by morning it would be gone!
Sounds crazy but works so well
