Brimstone, Mink, Nudge Nudge?
Brimstone, Mink, Nudge Nudge?
I have a $5 coupon! I'm going for a multipurpose color, like Plush or Shewolf. Plummy browns with copper seem to be the most flattering for me. Do you beautiful ladies have any advice? Thank you much!

I think Brimstone and Mink are more on the plummy side, if I can find them all I will swatch all 3 for you.

That would be great! Thank you, Susan!
The only thing that scares me about Brimstone is the "smokey" description. Usually those tend to show up a muddy gray on me.

I don't know if the coffee hasn't kicked, but I'm having a heck of a time with photobucket
couldn't crop, couldn't resize
but here you go...

flash, left to right: Brimstone, Nudge Nudge, Mink, Tweed

Natural light, Brimstone, Nudge Nudge, Mink and Tweed
I am terrible at describing colors, but Brimstone is the darkest and definetly has the smokey look, Nudge Nudge is kind of a taupey plum, Mink is more plum/coppery brown and Tweed is the brownest of all of them but to me there is a hint of plum and some copper sparkle. HTH

I have to throw my hat in for Brimstone. It's copper, it's pink, it's purple, it's sparkley, it's a neutral and it's fun at the same time. Wear to work with no fear, but it's definitely more interesting than your average brown eyeshadow. It's made to be paired with Fire as a highlight shade. I'm blonde, and very fair, too.
SN addict par excellence!
Favorite Blushes: Foxxy, Climax, Cider and Jamie
Favorite Lipstick: Negligee
Primer/Foundation/Finishing Powder: I'm a mad scientist!
I would join a 12 step program for my SN addiction, but 12 steps are for quitters!

Thank you lwoodall10 for your swatch (and other many swatches, I'm looking forward to new one).
They are so similar in the photo, but different in real. I have Brimstone & Nudge Nudge, the former one is more purple, the latter one is more gray taupey color.
I always don't use purples so much because I have warm toned skin, not good at some cool side colors. But Brimstone has copper shimmer in it, so suits me. It goes well with Fire as royalgoddessbeth said.
Nudge Nudge goes well with Wink Wink, great for neutral look.

throwing in my 2 cents worth....
I don't have Mink, but I do have both Brimstone and Nudge, Nudge. I am fair skinned, leaning towards warm. I like Brimstone, but I love Nudge,Nudge. It can be used with any of the highlight shades as a great neutral.
