Which liquid wand gloss?

Post by feyith » Fri Apr 16, 2010 7:26 pm

So I've forced myself to narrow the makeup stash down to 10 lippies and it turns out I have 9 favorites.
I think that means I get to add a liquid wand. Right? That's what that means, right?

Anyway, my favorites in order are:
1. Black Dahlia
2. Winter Rose
3. Cultured
4. Celestial
5. Bobbi
6. Centerfold
7. Soft
8. Peace
9. Infatuation

I'm only allowed one more, so I was thinking maybe Summer Fling? What are your favorites? :)

I love modern poet! Its a great nude wand that lightens your lips with pretty sparkles.
What do you mean by narrowing it down? Are you throwing lippies away? Why can't you have more that ten? It sounds sooo sad! LOL

No way! Really? I don't believe it! ;)

To answer the original question, I don't have any of the liquid wand glosses, but I have Summer Fling and Modern Poet on my wish list. I also am intrigued by Cherry Crush. I will definitely be getting at least one of them (probably Summer Fling first) soon.

They all went to good homes, I promise! :)

I just feel so overwhelmed when I look in the drawer and realize I own THAT much more makeup than I will ever possibly use.

Purple eye shadows, on the other hand, are another story.

Yes, I was definitely eyeing Modern Poet, Summer Fling, Cherry Crush...um...actually, all of them. That's why I need help! LOL!

I like Modern Poet to layer to change the other ones. See, you would get a multi-functional one, totally justified ;)

My fav is not even listed any more, I may have to go beg to bring back Rouge.

I was wondering about Rouge too. I noticed Ice Princess and Raindrops on Roses are both gone. Have they been for a while? Pink Lady also looks ridiculously pretty and I love anything with a Grease theme. Sadness!

I *love* Summer Fling! It's the only wand gloss I own, but it is a beautiful color! I'm voting for you to get that one....

I noticed Karen compares Centerfold (under the description) to Modern Poet. I have both (Centerfold is going bye bye in a grab bag, I like it but turns colors on me) and on me Modern Poet is much lighter (very pretty color alone, plus works well on colors you need to tone down or lighten). On my wacky lips the wands are longer lasting and stay truer to color (don't turn pink) than the glosses.
I have Modern Poet and Iced Mocha from a LONG time ago and w/ in the last few months purchased Vintage (on me similar to Sultry) and Copper Rose. I think the formula was changed b/c they are nothing alike. I like both, but the newer purchases are much thicker and you only need a bit or it looks too thick. I think the newer ones are also a bit more moisturizing. What I LOVE about SN wands is they aren't sticky at all, your hair doesn't stick in them (I HATE that w/ most liquid glosses). They are also very long wearing. I know I will be adding more colors this summer.

Let us know what you order and how it works.
