Liner for Brimstone?

Post by Trainer » Mon Feb 22, 2010 10:17 am

If you wear Brimstone as a wash, which color do you wear as a liner? Thanks. I use Brimstone as a liner a lot but I feel like using it as a wash today. :D

Velvet and Plush, vet or dry-lined sound like a good match. I never wore Brimstone as a wash, but sounds like something nice for an evening look?

Well... I was going to try it during the day but not too heavy. You think that might be too dark?

I like Aubergine or something like Burnished as a liner. I often use Brimstone as the outer V for day and don't find it too dark at all. I also used it as a wash on Saturday and thought it was a perfect shade. Then again, on me, it's too light to use as a liner, so this may not help.
7 Ivory: 1.5 BG: 0.5 Olive... for now...

I use it for outer V, predominantly with Fire, and it may be too dark for me as one wash. You could try it though, light-handed? Or layer a lighter color under it, but then again, it won't be a one wash, hehe. If you can, let us see how it worked out!

I know it seems a little old (42) but I just started wearing eyeshadow last April when I found SN and I got a beautiful pot of sparkles as a gift and I had to use it!! So...I haven't ventured in the outer V thing yet, but I will try soon. Right now I do all over washes and I like to lighten the inner corner of my eye with a light color. I also like to do eyelining with the loose SN shadows. I love purples with my dark brown eyes and light skin. And I think Brimstone is an awesome color. I chickened out today though and wore Moonstone one of my faves with Brimstone as a liner. Maybe tomorrow!!!
