Renovage Moisturizer

Post by Dwis » Wed Feb 17, 2010 12:10 am

Hi,
Need some guidance here.. what is exactly the difference between Firming Moisturizer w/ CoQ10 & Renovage and Intensive Moisturizer w/CoQ10 & Reonvage??
The both have the same description. I was thinking to try one of them for my smile lines and my under eye wrinkles.

Thanks!

The Firming is made with lighter weight oils, and the Intensive with heavier ones. I like the Firming in warmer months and the Intensive in drier months.

Yep, what Jen said. I started out using the Firming moisturizer in the fall and am now using the Intensive during the winter. They are both FABULOUS.

How do people find these with fairly oily acne prone skin? In the cold hemp just wasn't cutting it :( Raspberry and jojoba were making me a bit pimply, so I was looking at one of these? I've been using lush enzymion which has been great except it's been leaving me pretty clogged, not any more spotty than usual but I've been getting loads of clogged pores, I think its the cocoa butter!

Sewwies,

I have acne prone oily skin and use the firming moisturizer. Doesn't seem to break my skin out at all (thankfully!), I use it mostly at night unless my skin is feeling particularly parched during the day. My skin is oily the next morning, but that's "normal" for me and it's nothing like the oil slick I get with most other moisturizers I've used. It leave my skin feeling so smooth, soft, and best of all, it feels plump and hydrated! I actually think it's the first bottle of moisturizer from any line I've ever finished completely and had to reorder...that's saying a lot! Now I just need it to have a sibling in the form of an eye cream.

Things like cocoa butter break my face out. I don't ever put it on my face, but boy do I notice if I've been using it on my hands and haven't done a good job of keeping my hands off my face! I don't have the best luck with straight jojoba oil either. It seems like it takes forever to get off my skin and I get more breakouts with it. Though maybe the breakouts are it cleaning out my pores? I dunno, I haven't been brave enough to keep using it.

Yeah I tried using jojoba oil as a cleanser for a while but made me spotty :( will definately have to try the firming! Its a tiny amount I think but for a mattifying moisturiser it seems like a silly ingredient, you can really tell its there after an hour or so!
