I lost a lippie!

Post by nfig » Mon Feb 08, 2010 12:49 pm

I'm just venting here because I know you ladies can relate! I grabbed my Aria lippie and shoved it in my pocket before work and it fell out between my house and work somewhere. I'm so mad, I get so angry at myself when I lose my precious makeup :( It doesn't help that I only have Damsel and I had Aria, so now I'm down to one lippie until my VDay order gets here. Grrr...

That stinks...I hate it when I lose my lippies. I end up with doubles a lot because I tend to leave mine in jacket pockets or purses. Then sure that I have lost them I order new ones and of course find the missing lipstick or gloss. :)

Same here: once I thought I lost my Gold Blush in Hungary, then somehow I found two of them recently... must have came in on the next flight ;)
Hope you'll find it! Maybe you put it somewhere else after your pocket? Maybe it's in the car? Driveway? Good luck!

My black label devil's food cake lip gloss just went through the wash. A sad sad day.
I've been using my southern praline until I get a replacement.

My fig leaf jumped into the washer (so thankful it didn't make it into the dryer). My husband calls me "the laundry wrecking ball", I always hear. "DID YOU CHECK YOUR POCEKTS"!! I've lost so many lippie this way.

I lost Bobbi, I have a feeling it will turn up somewhere. This caused me to wear other colors, it turned out to be a postive thing!!

nfig- You have my sympathy......it is serious business when a favorite gloss takes a walk. ;) Hopefully, it will turn up. I have lost and washed many. My solution is just to get more......

I was convinced that I had lost a couple of my Aromaleigh lip balms, but I found that my dog had stolen them and hoarded them in her dog bed. She didn't eat them, they just had a few minor tooth marks on them.

Sometimes having a service dog sucks because they are just too smart for their fur.

I ordered a Clear Peppermint Black Label Lippie with my first order, once it gets here, I'll be putting it where she can't get it.

" Ifound that my dog had stolen them and hoarded them in her dog bed. "

As I was opening my SN order this afternoon, my dog ran over and started smelling and dancing all around and settled next to me and stared at my goods. I better keep an eye on her. Services dogs are so smart and wonderful, bet you find yours w/ a beautifully applied face of makeup!! Though she already looks pretty in the picture and doesn't need it. I am thinking about doing therapy w/ my dog. She just got her canine good citizen certification. She is such an imp, I am still not sure about it.

My dog wears nail polish & cosmetic glitter on her fur. I went into Sephora today to get more Two Faced Shadow Insurance and left with three free small nail polishes for the dog. Every time I got into Sephora, the dog gets free make-up.

Impy dogs are great if you have a VA Hospital near you. People in rehabilitation from injuries really enjoy dogs that like to play with them.
