Twister - I love you Karen

Post by Ghost » Sat Feb 06, 2010 3:30 am

Thank you sooooooooooooooo much for this Karen. You are a goddess.................... no a Queen of the Goddess for bringing back Twister. I did a little squeal and a dance when I saw Twister on the site and my cat looked at me like I was crazy (which isn't much of a stretch really).

Okay people I'm starting this thread to "twist" Karen’s arm to keep it on the site. Come on who's with me on this (or am I just a sad crazy loner loon :D ) Let's do what we did for Vineyard!!!!!!!

BTW: Karen is that a picture of your dog Bitsy (or did you stick with Jazzy) on the front page of the site??????
Foundation: 1: baggie 6: ebony: 7 glow
Fav blush: Steller
Fav Lippie: Symphony
Fav combo: cream 1st half of lid, 09:59 2nd half, chocolate twinkle in the crease with Blackheart over it blended out and vanillia on brow bone.

Back at ya sweetie...I couldn't remember for the life of me if it was Twister or Thriller that you liked (given that it's you probably both)- Twister was easier to clone so I went with it for the moment.

Yes that's Bitsy on the front page. I think obscure internet "stardom" has gone to her head- she's been a bit sassy the past few days.

(ahem... whispers) Thriller was my request, but after making / releasing Symphony, Gleaming, Peacock liner, Liberty Glow, serums and and and... after me pestering you (hopefully politely), you can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. (Ye probably know that already lol) Hugs.

Sorry if anyone thinks that's a bit OTT but once you've been here a while, you'll learn that Karen is in a league of her own for CS and kindness.

How does Twister compare to Sizzle and Original?

I don't have Twister yet, but Sizzle looks slightly bluer and Original looks slightly more sage / olive-antique gold. Different enough to be a necessary purchase - that's the important bit, right? ;)

Oh Twister is different from sizzle and original and worth a purchase (especially knowing that $1 is going to charity).

Sizzle is a metallic golden blue, original is a metallic silvery blue and darker then sizzle while twister is a medium tone silver blue/teal but I find it more blue then the other two (I'm terrible at describing colours and I'm not looking at it with natural light. Its 20:40 here so can't post any good swatches until tomorrow when the sun comes up tomorrow but I'll do one of all three together.

Karen since you brought up Thriller and not to sound ungrateful but hell yeah I'd love' em both and would love thriller brought back for awhile at some point - you know after you've moved, and brought out more request from people and you've solved world hunger while negotiated for world peace. We are demanding but I won't get my crack from anywhere else. Twister for the twisted and Thriller for the thrills

Oh I know what you mean. I put one photo of my cat April as my desktop background and she looks at me now like "Women get me my milk NOW!!!!" She speaks volumes with her eyes

It's never OTT to sweet talk your dealer Cupcake. It's like I always say if your dealer gives you crack for free, compliment her to death

(twitches fingers together like Mr. Burns) Exxxcellent....hehe.
You forgot cure cancer- it's on the list after creamy concealer, cream blush base, "sticky" lippies (preferably very light pink), a more matte lip balm, a collection devoted to Gone with the Wind, more site revisions and something for acne. Oh and moving, and reviving Thriller apparently. You're all too nice to say "no" to.

This week's GWP color name came to me after I looked at the number of orders on Friday morning, and wondered to myself "they do know it isn't ACTUALLY crack right???"...kNACk- not actually crack.

Oops 'scuse me, I commented on Original but my mind was thinking Unique.

Curing cancer, eh? Well, anything's possible given that you've found the answer to world peace - half an hour mucking about with a new parcel from SN makes anyone happy; multiplied globally, wouldn't the world be a much happier place (think of all those swatches!)

No kidding. Heck, I have only been here a few months and I already know she is in a league of her own, especially with customer service!

I knew somebody would catch on eventually. Crack is such an ugly word ;)
