Lwood,

It's funny, I know what color reds I can wear in clothing, but figuring it out in lip color is another story. Have you tried Symphony? I forgot about that one, can't tell how red it is from the swatch.

Berry Crush is almost a lipstick on me, and I think on most people. Tender is a lovely colour, but it's more of a sheer wash - the two don't look the same on me, but I guess we're all different.

And Sultry is a great red! Symphony's not very pigmented at all, so if you're scared of reds, you might want to try that one. It barely shows up on me, though I've got fairly pigmented lips. I'm also not sure it's the perfect red for cool-toned folks - it's okay, but it's not my favourite colour. Still, it's the only non-clear Black Label I can wear at all, so I'm happy to have it :)

I know I am the same way...It seems like it should be so easy, but I somehow I still get confused :(

I have Symphony and I wear it often, but oddly enough I don't really consider it red. On me it is more of a pigmented rosy pink color...I had to go try it on

I just got samples of Bitten and Reddy, thanks Pomeline :) and they both are pretty, but I think of the two I will likely buy Reddy. It's a really pretty red.

Rhys and Iwood,

Oxana posted pics of Symphony and it so isn't the color I was expecting, though very pretty and something I would wear often. She also posted a pic of Berry Crush, on my screen they look like they are in the same color family. Do you find that to be true.

I think I will order Symphony, but still need a red. Is Sultry a RED RED? Would you say Reddy is cooler than Bitten?

Thanks

I am terrible at describing colors...I don't really think that Symphony and Berry Crush look anything alike on, at least not on me. It is several shades lighter and has lots of shimmer.

I would say from the swatches both Crimson and Reddy are red, reds and I think that Crimson would be the cooler of the two. I don't think I can pull off Crimson, so I am going with Reddy. :)

Yeah, Crimson is more a 'loud' red when you apply it nice and thick :)
I would say Reddy is cool, but it has a slight blueish, purplish kick too it. It's also a darker kind of red, but not as deep/dark as Hot Blooded. I hope that makes sense :D

Me too. I think I look best in coral and tomato reds, guess that is warm reds? Or is it Strawberry reds...LOL!!! Guess I should pick one that has a combo of warm and cold reds.

I am excited to try Symphony looks casual and for everyday.

That's the only way I know I am truly safe, if it say "neutral" Otherwise I am just guessing and hoping for the best. Corals and Peaches I pretty much can't go wrong with though, but those are mostly warm shades. :)
