I really need to get fit... I finally agreed to join my school's dragonboat club today, after 4months of pestering from my friend. I'd like to lose 5lbs by the end of the term, which would put me at about what my average weight has been for the last few years. College cafeteria food, instant noodles and instant mashed potatoes are not a health diet. .___.

I'm also on the quest to be thinner. I'm currently 170 pounds, 5'2.5" tall, and wear a size 12 jeans. I would ideally like to weigh anywher from 120-140, but more important to me is size, as I'm seen how the scale can "lie" because of muscle and stuff.. So my goal size is a 6-8. I'd love to fit into my size 10s again (the size I wore when I was around 140-150) and the very few 8s I have (when I was my smallest, 137-140). For food, I'm just trying to eat "clean" - lots and lots of veggies, fruit, beans; limited salt, sugar, proccessed foods, meat, diary, and fat. For exercise, I'm doing a program called T-Tapp as well as trying to walk a bit more. Oh, and drink more water -- I really need to up that! I'm doing a 30-day challenge with T-Tapp that ends February 15, and I'm hoping I see some good results! Love reading how all of you are achieving yours results and looking forward to helping each other be our best! :)

Good luck, both of you! I've been drinking more green and red tea instead of my usual tea (is it black tea? I never know, the tea tea lol) and replaced some of my plain water. A girl in work told me drinking three cups off green tea a day will make you burn an extra 600 calories a week. Not sure if it's really worth it (urgh!) for 600 a week but if it's good for me...!!! Me and my housemate are having a race to lose 7lbs because it's always good to have a little competition, but unfortunately we have no scales (d'oh!), got the wii fit but that told me after 4 days of starving myself I've put on 4lb, hmm! I want to get back in to all of my UK 12s, I'm in to most, and was back in to all over autumn, but after Christmas and the whole new boyfriend thing (making each other yummy meals) I've developed something of a muffin top in them! It's amazing how sizes vary!

Well done thats amazing!!! How on earth do you manage?! I've taken your balls of steel and been really good this week (did have a small incident with some cookie dough on Sunday.. had a baking urge and the dough was oh so tasty!) After a week and a half I can breathe in my trousers. But 8lbs in two weeks! That's insanely good!!! X X

That's very impressive! You must have really double-timed it to do that well.

You girls are so inspiring. Game on, it's time to get that wedding booty in shape. I lost 5 kilos (11lbs) in January . If I can keep this up I'll reach my goal in 6 months, but to be realistic I don't think over a kilo a week will happen, it's always easier in the beginning, but I'll do my best.
Yoga, long walks in the woods and couple of gym hours a week will be my instrument. I'm excluding carbs and adding loads of proteins and fat. Wish me luck
