Our lease at the studio is up in a couple of months, and I was looking at some spaces today. One of the rooms in our local Masonic Temple would be *perfect* for us- it's a little bit bigger than our current space- and it's about half the rent (hence the search for a new shop...we don't really really need to expand, but rents have come down, so we're really just looking around to make sure we're getting the best deal for our money). The only problem is a guy has already rented it because he needs it ONE NIGHT A WEEK. For an acting class- for 4 months. Meanwhile there's a perfectly lovely unoccupied dance studio upstairs that's actually a bit cheaper.

I'm trying to have the landlord work out a deal with him...any good vibes you can pass along would be much appreciated.
