help with smoky eye
I know this has been covered before, but I am trying to do a purple/plum smoky eye and I need help.
I have searched past posts and can't seem to find the info. I know there is a kit with four colors in it, but I don't have all of those colors. My eyes are bluish/green and I tend to lean toward warmer tones. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!!!!

Re: help with smoky eye
I've got bluey green eyes and I find the purpley greys work the best. I usually line quite heavily with a black pencil liner, top and bottom, then smudge with a stiff brush. If you want it really dark maybe slate or burnished as a kind of lid colour extended just past the crease, or idolize/slick if you want it a little less so, then coal/raven in the crease. Then re-line if you want, and pop some along the water line, highlight your brow bone and the inner corner of your eye with frenchie and add loads of mascara. I love fake lashes with smokey eyes too - mac #7s are my personal fave. The duo glue they sell is brilliant!

Thanks so much! I am not very good with the whole smoky eye---I usually end up looking like someone punched me.
You gave a good description that I'm going to try and we'll see what happens. Thanks again!

No problem I'm not too great with descriptions. If the purpley colours are too 'punched in the eye' (hehe!) you could try something grey like carbon, thats very pigmented though, I usually use it as a thick crease with frenchie/vanilla all over! Good luck!

You could also try using a very small crease brush for the outer corner, so you have more control with it.ticklemytentoes wrote:Thanks so much!
