Candid - Gwp
Does anyone have news on what type of color this is? Usually there is a leak about what color the GWP or even a description from Karen. This one is a mystery so far... I am loving ordering in small amounts just to get the GWP each time. Next I think I'll order some Zinc powder. My wish list keeps getting longer...

Sheer Zinc powder
Ultimate Luxury powder
Jojoba moisturizer
Oatmeal hydrating serum

Usually I try to keep them a secret...not to be mean or anything like that but because they're kind of experimental colors for all of us. I create them to say thank you for your order, and by keeping them a secret it opens me up creatively so that I feel like I can do anything with the gift with purchase and not really worry about needing to sell it or use it as a tool to get you to order. That's kind of how I need to approach it so that it stays fun for me, and as a benefit fun for you as well. The other upside for you is that there are some people who just think they can't wear a certain shade- say purples or greens but by giving you a certain color that you may or may not have chosen for yourself you get to experiment and play with color too! It's supposed to be one big adventure for all of us.

It's kind of turned into something different since it's inception...if you see a swatch, it's not a big deal- it's not a state secret, but I prefer to work in secrecy. If you get one you don't like you can always swap it, or honestly, you can mix them all together and eventually you'll come up with an interesting grey.

I like not knowing what I'm going to get :D Take Pretty for example, a color I would never have bought - but I got it as a GWP and I love it! Tailfeather is another one that I would have written off as being too boring, too neutral and wouldn't have ordered - but it turned out to be one of the most wearable colors I have. I will definitely broaden my color perspective now and look for some more neutrals, more pretty lavender or maybe even blue shades.. all thanks to a couple of shadows that I got for free. Pretty good marketing trick, Karen! ;)
The way I look at it is that if I don't like it then there's no harm done as I haven't paid for it and there's always the possibility to swap for something else.

I think swatches on Wed. night or Thursday are kind of tempting. ;)

I agree, I find that some of my favorite colors are GWP or shades from swaps because they are shades I may not usually buy. :)

Thank you for your reply Karen. I can see why you would keep them a secret. In the last few months I have seen some hints so I wondered if I missed something. I do love seeing the swatches late in the week. If I was on the fence sometimes it pushes me right over the edge. Since I am new here I am slowly building my SN collection by spacing it out so I can take advantage of those sweat little gwp's. I find myself stalking the site on fridays to see what it will be. Such a great marketing tool!!! Must remember that...

I especially understand the creative flow as I sit here making my sea glass jewelry. I get the most enjoyment out of it when I am free to do whatever the creative juices desire. Let it flow and just be spontaneous with no expectations. I totally get that.

Based on the name alone I DO WANT It!!!!!

Cool! Thank you for understanding. It's not super duper top secret or anything...I don't have a problem with someone else swatching, but if I do it, it feels a bit too much like selling to me. I used to swatch or give hints or descriptions, and occasionally I'll let a little something slip, but it just feels weird to try to get people to order based on the gift. It's hard to explain, but it's me induging my flaky artist side.

The gwp colors always seem to be so pretty. I can't wait to see what this one will be. The ones that came in the club were all so lovely. I am enjoying them all. Have fun making it Karen. Just a little time to play mad scientist. I know I would love to do that.
