I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mirage. I have cool skin with a yellow undertone so it can be...tricky...to find cosmetics (and clothes!) in colors that don't make me look pasty or sick. Lipsticks and lip glosses are the bane of my existence because NONE of them look good on me. But! Mirage is the perfect nude lip. It tones down the pink/plum in my lips and gives them a browner tint without making me look ill. I have not tried the Bare slimshine, but Mirage is totally awesome.
The day I got XXX in the mail and put it on my lips to try it out, my DH came in the room and said, "Are you okay? Your lips are...really pale," And I was like, "Yeah, I know, I guess I'll be using it as a lip primer." And it works really well for that!

We are the same Zeebs!! Thats my coloring too except I have brown eyes and I adore Mirage! I was just saying that earlier. The funny thing is I just ordered XXX this week. I thought I would use it as a primer to make a light pink! I guess I won't wear it by itself!

I think you'll like it! It creates the perfect neutral color for layering.

Oh thanks! I should get it tomorrow, can't wait! I'm trying to get soft to look like a light pink that I saw on someone elses swatch the other day. On me it looks darker pink. We'll see.

And yeah, I scare myself in the mirror when I apply XXX, sickly
