Which lippie should I get?

Post by lwoodall10 » Sun Jan 10, 2010 7:49 pm

Okay, so I am going through some kind of withdrawal :? . I haven't purchased a lippie in months and I need one...

Which one do you think I should get? If anyone has these shades do they have a lot of brown in them? I can't wear lippie with too much brown. Breathless is about as brown as I can go, or I look like I am wearing mud. :(

Negligee
Caramel
Mirage
Fashionista

If anyone has other suggestions I am open to ideas, as well, TIA

You should get Mirage! Its an awesome nude lippie. Not too brown at all. Very creamy and actually makes my lips look full.

I can't wear browns at all, and the only one I own from that list is Fashionista. It's a bit darker than my lips, and it's plummy/wine-y, not brown at all. When I was deciding between Mirage and Cultured, I was recommended Cultured, and it works nicely. If you do get Mirage or any of the others, let us know how it works out, so the other non-brown-wearing ladies could maybe consider them :)

I might have to get two. I really want Fashionista and then one of the nudes. I'm just not sure which nude. They all look so pretty

Caramel is a lot like Centerfold on my lips, but a bit warmer. That is the only one I have on your list.

I have Centerfold which I really like, so I guess I wont get that one. What about Polished Pink? It looks really pretty.

Negligee might be kind of iffy for you...it is kind of along the lines of Birthday Suit. Mirage is like Centerfold but a little more pink. Mirage is very close to the Divine Kiss Bliss that was d/c.

Thanks Jen, Birthday Suit was terrible on me, so that one gets marked off the list and I have Divine.

Does anyone have opinions about Polished Pink? it looks really pretty and not too brown.

That's weird cause mirage is less pink on me than centerfold. My lips are weird I guess!! ;) I love them both though.
For me Mirage is a gorgeous nude. Polished pink does seem a bit brown on me.

It's a very warm pink, which unfortunately turns brownish rather than pink on my lips. You might be able to pull it off with your complexion though, based on what I saw in the FOTD thread. I'll try an include a sample of that too in your care package before I give it to my lucky girlfriend who inherits everything I can't use :)
