How'd you choose your screen name?

Wonder if you'd mind sharing how you chose your screen name? There must be interesting stories behind some of them! I'm Jackie in real life,lol, but "Jackie" is so serious! I'm married to Michael & *he* dubbed me "mikie", ROFL! He doesn't let ANYONE call HIM mikie so it was a little joke when I tried it & it stuck. I've never bothered to change it, & it's just part of me now!

I made mine up when I was little- still playing outside and pretending to be a sorceress and such. (We used leaves from the chestnut trees as "money"). I've always loved and use it for a lot of things. It's also almost always available when i sign up for new things

My cat is Tizzy, and I always call her Tizzylou, so when I needed a online name Tizzylou was a natural choice. Mikie, my middle daughter's name is Michelle, and until she got out of college she was always "Mikie" now only her Dad and I can get away with it. Hollis

Hi all

I chosen my name as I'm very pale like a ghost. I have been all my life and will be the day I die (the inside of my arm is so pale its close to milk lol).

I avoid the sun like the plague - sun burn is never fun and I don't tan. I have to use SPF 50+ (can't get it any high in England at the mo) even with that I have to top it up every 45 min - 1 hour when I'm on the beach. And I'm not talking the Bahamas here I'm talking about English beaches, guess how hot they get!!

Because I avoid the sun, like wearing black most of the time (I'm getting out of that comfort zone) and I love vampire/supernatural books and movies, my sisters started to calling me a vampire lol. Well I didn't think "Vampire" was a very good screen name on a makeup forum (would have been very funny though ) so I went with Ghost - and I'm glad I did.

Zeebs was my nickname at my one of my previous jobs because there were three employees with the same first name. It's kind of a perversion of my name. For privacy reasons I won't share further.

Hi everybody
I have a black cat tattoo on my left wrist, and I'm a girl. "nuff said.
(we have 3 tuxedo cats-all girls-11 years old. They are littermates. They were rescue cats. A lady we know found their very pregnant mom in a dumpster a day before she delievered the 3 of them and 3 other stillborns.) We offered to take the 3 babies when they were old enough.
That's my story.

I've always been frond online... why I chose the name... I can't remember now *blush* something to do with loving the seaside and palm trees I think.

btw, if u don't know... frond is the name of a palm tree branch.
