Super serum question

This is described as skin lightening, I don't really fancy this but I like the sound of the rest of it. What effect does it actually have and how much of an effect is the lightening likely to have on my skin?

Nothing that ten minutes of sun exposure won't undo - I haven't noticed any lightening effects which is good because I'm too pale already!
