I need some advice please.

Oh my...everyone keeps coming up with such good ideas. I am going to the market today, luckily most of these items are pretty inexpensive, but very useful!

I just wanted to thank everyone again for all the great suggestions and wanted to post a pic of some of things that I am sending my friend. I also have a retractable Kabuki and a Finishing Veil from another company. A couple of mutual friends all chipped in and were able to get her a $200.00 gift card. It is not a lot, but hopefully she can pick up some thing for herself and her boys and a nice Christmas dinner. I tucked all the little makeup goodies and gift card in one of those red Sephora gift bags, it looked so cute and festive.

...and Karen thanks as usual for your being the great person you are and the shipping elves who got this package to me in record time. I overnighted her package yesterday, so she should have time to go get anything she needs before Christmas.
