Hi, everyone.
I'm, soooo upset lol. All that getting-my-skin ready, ended-up in vain. Unfortunately I have a really bad flu started on Monday and my skin has dry patches, lots of bumpy skin, and my lips are painfully dry, thin, cracked, especially from needing to breathe to sleep through my mouth.
I hope I will be feeling better before Friday, but I'm worried I won't.
Much love everyone.

Oooh. That's not fun. I hope you feel better soon. That sort of skin takes a while to heal and rehydrate- hopefully it will soon. Maybe some aloe gel, or a humidifier would help?? The other thing for chapped lips is eating apples...they're a mild AHA, and that seems to work (at least for me).

Oh no! D: I hope you feel better soon! I was sick a few weeks ago with what probably was H1N1... NOT fun at all!
@Karen - Interesting... I have apples sitting in my fridge... But they've been there for a while. I'll see if they're still edible later

Hope you felt better by Friday, Jessica. I know how frustrating it can be to prep in anticipation and then be knocked out by something unexpected like the flu.
Karen, I did not know that about apples! I don't like them, but now, I'll probably just take a piece from my hubby and rub on my mouth while he munches on then -- haha.
