Redeeming points and free eyeshadows

I think this has been asked before but I did a search and couldn't find it.

If my cart has say, $31 in it, and I redeem points or use a coupon code to get $5 off (making the new total $26), would I still be eligible for a free eyeshadow?

Rephrased: Does eligibility for the free eyeshadows depend on the cart value before or after discount?

I am pretty sure you can use your points and still get the free eye shadow.

Yep...if it is points or a prize code, you still qualify for the free shadow. I am not sure how they handle percentage off coupons for first orders, though. I can ask.

Another question about points. Since we have a customs limit at about $25-30 in Sweden I try to stay below that. What value will be written on my package if I redeem points or coupons? The actual value of the products or the sum I have paid after discount?

If you put $30 worth of stuff in the order you get a free shadow...so if it's just $30, and then you have a discount- you still get the shadow. The shipping software writes in what you paid...minus the shipping, so if there's a discount, it's subtracted from the value.
