WOW...my 2nd haul in 5 days...

Post by hotmama » Tue Jun 17, 2008 12:16 pm

Ok...I need to slow down my ordering...or at least set a monthly budget! My 2nd haul came yesterday, with my first 5 days before. I'm so excited with my new playthings! Here's what I scooped up:
Geo collection
Legend e/s
Luxe e/s
Haze e/s
Teakie e/s
Naughty e/s
Jaybird lippie
Bon Bon lippie
Skinny Dip lippie
Tempt Tryst
Foundation sampler
Beach Bunny
Tahiti Sweetie
Jamie blush
Climax blush
Carnal blush

And yes, everything is just fab. I had a few glitches with mixing but I will keep at it tonight. I've gotten several compliments on my e/s today! I'm wearing Aztec, Bone, and Teakie with Basalt liner. Its perfect for work. Carnal blush was just beautiful. I'm a little too tan for Climax and Jamie, which makes me sad because they are so pretty. I'm in love with Skinny Dip lippie and Jaybird, which I'm wearing today. I think the moisture in these lippies last all day.
I'm realling enjoying the line. Now I just have to will myself to not buy for a week or so! Thanks for reading and have a great day gals.

It only gets MORE fun from here on out!!! I had the same problem with some blushes except for Vino ~ but the newer blushes are more pigmented & are *wonderful* for folks who have medium skintones ~ or applied with a light touch on lighter skintones. Babydoll & Lovelace are MUST HAVES,LOL, with your coloring! Those & Tart are my favorites, but I like Outlaw & Vixen & Carnal as well. The lippies are perfect! Enjoy!

I think I have everything MOAC except for the Espresso brown liner (flat brown and I don't get on), and Tempt Tryst (I have a little gold in my mostly pink undertone, and a tiny bit of peach, but absolutely no yellow).

But hey - only six new F/S blushes and one F/S bronzer!

Probably not something to brag about, huh? Cos I still haven't got a couple of samples yet (post here is slow).

Faves of the blushes for me: CARNAL (you gotta have it!), Pretty Plum, BabyDoll, Tart Light, Forbidden, Petal (that one is probably too light for you, though). You gotta have the blush brush, regardless of which ones you end up with. Have to. It's genius.

Lovelace and Vixen are too warm for me, and I haven't yet got the samples of Maybe Baby and Poppy.

Love love love the Beach Bunny bronzer, and haven't found a clunker amongst the lippies yet (still waiting on Divine, that one might be iffy for me, but if it's a nude, it will layer).

This is an easy place to get addicted to.

The full-sizes at last count:

77 eye shadows
30 lippies
10 blushes
4 cream eye liners
3 perfecting powders
3 glows
1 bronzer
Foundation
Mascara

Scary, huh?

Ok, I couldnt resist. I went ahead and placed that 3rd order. But this is final until something new comes out. Hers'smy latest grab:
Emerald, Scallop Pink, Charmed, Storm Cloud, Grassroots, Caperberry, Seagrass, Gasp, Sizzle, Vanilla, Saphire, Ocean shadows, Love Lure perfecting powder, Cocoaberry, Babydoll, Tart blush, Tarnished creme liner, Hotblooded, Mesmerizing, Divine, Breathless, Seedy, and Swept Away lippies....for a grand total of $111 :o :o :o ...YIKES!!! But I can't wait to get my goodies. Now I have to stay off the site until something new is released....
Jen, a single therapy session would be about that much, right??? So, I'm still justified....whew!

Yes, a single therapy session would be about as much and not give as much of a confidence boost and sheer joy for the next several months!!!! Have fun with your loot!!!!

Yup...Wellbutrin will set you back $150 a month. Makeup isn't a substitute for therapy- but in some cases I think it should be (said the girl with the Psychology degree who turned to making makeup)!

YIKESSS!!!$150 a month??? For a pill??? I am sooo justified in buying makeup...my 9 year old son asked me why I always buy sooo much makeup, I told him its how God decided to balance us out, boys can go pee-pee standing up while girls get to go play in makeup!!!! So in my book we're even! :D

Yes, my brother used it to quit smoking, and I about fell over when I saw what it cost him.

Your explanation is priceless! I just giggled all the way to the post office and back! Having taken a Greyhound a time or two I think it's a very fair trade-off.
