sending SN to friend?

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to order some products for someone and have SN send it directly to their home w/o having the invoice in the package? Could I write a note in the message box with the address? Thanks!

Hi H,
There is a place in your account where you can add other addresses. I have stuff sent directly to my sis and MIL all the time.

I will be in and out today, but let me know if it isn't an obvious process....it might be that you have to add the shipping address on checkout.

It would be useful. I've sent SN to friends before, but the invoice has gone in with the package - OUCH!

To just send it to a friend, put in an alternate shipping address in your account - that's easy. The invoice bit - write a note in the checkout box for special instructions.

I did send SN last year at Christmas to an aunt and my mother. Billing was my address in Canada and it was shipped in the US.

I did specify gift in the special instructions.

Yes...we're happy to do that. Just leave us a note, and we'll leave out the invoice. We also have holiday cards, so we're happy to include them with a note from you.

I tried last night but I think I was doing something wrong. I added my friends name to my address. But when I click on the final page it kept having it shipped to me. When I clicked the edit button I thought I had her name there but it doesn't seem to show up on the final page. If I just add the address info to the message box do you think that it will work?

Yes, I remember that it keeps switching back to the billing address..... I know there is a way to change it back on one of the final pages.....if you can'tget it to work, put the address in the box, and I will make sure there is a message about the differing address. We will get it!
