Re: Concealers before or after???
I have done it both ways and sometimes need to apply before and after. My secret is to blend well with a concealer brush. I need quite a bit of concealer around my nose as I have broken caps. I will sometimes do a touch up mid day as I can rub my foundation/concealer off (bowing nose, etc.) I keep a synethic lip/concealer brush with mineral powder on it in my purse for emergencies.
Also make sure your concealer is a good match. For example most green concealers show green on me no matter how well I blend. I can use LOTS of Karen's UNblush when I am really blotchy all over. It works well and acts a bit of a primer for me. I highly recommend Unblush if you have large areas of redness.

Re: Concealers before or after???
I do it after, and just use my foundation to do it so there are no patches. It works well for me, but I am ordering the Heavy formula as well, just in case.

Ohhh That is a good idea!! I will also try it with the heavy formula for those days that my face is just a mess!! Let me know how did the heavy mix worked for you!! To do the concealer of the heavy formula, would you mix it as if was your foundation, or make it a little lighter?? Thank you for your help BFA!!BlowFarAway wrote:I do it after, and just use my foundation to do it so there are no patches. I have no idea how I would mix it, I think Jen's posted about it in one of the foundation threads, I won't be of much help until January since I'm not allowed to order until then lol!

Re: Concealers before or after???
A lot of us paler/pinker girls have discovered that mixing the original Sleep in a Jar with Unblush makes it so the green isn't overpowering.
I like to do a light dusting of that mix all over for color correction (before foundation) and then do spot specific concealing with afterward.

Re: Concealers before or after???
I just spot conceal with my foundation (medium coverage) using an eye kabuki beforehand, and maybe after if I need to. I've found that works quite well for my scarring.
Re: Concealers before or after???
I do both. I use my edm mint/multi tasking mix before hand to tone down redness, I will try the unblush when I run out of this. Then I just use some of my foundation for spot concealing.
Re: Concealers before or after???
I usually spot conceal (undereye, mostly) after I do the all over foundation. Make sure you don't go heavy handed for the spots. If you need more coverage, you may want to consider a heavier foundation instead of overloading on the spots that need to be concealed.
