Moving- ugh!

well so far they're paying for my car and i picked up my rental car today (which they're paying for) but when i went to transfer everything from my car to the rental i found out my car flooded during the storms and stinks to high heaven. (water sitting in a car in 90+F degree heat. You can imagine) lots of washing to do. I said "it's a good thing i don't have mental powers because i'd be blowing things up right now!" On the upside, the rental is an automatic which means my boyfriend can now take on some of the driving time on the long drive back to pa. soon. soon it will all be a crappy memory. lol

Ouch, Sam. I hope it ends up being nothing but a very vague crappy memory - soon! I've often thought if I had to move house again, they better keep the matches and petrol out of reach - far too tempting to just burn the place down instead of trying to pack and cart (I remember doing it all too vividly).

But I hope the east coast will be a joy for you - both of you!

one good thing did come out of it. I packed my lippies separately from the rest of my makeup and i dug them out today when i was switching cars so at least i have my lippies now! lol. I was so worried they'd have melted but they survived! phew.

It's so nice to have an outlet here when i'm fuming about people being idiotic. I cannot stand the mechanic, i had a really great one in c-dale and this one talks to me like i'm 5. I must have called 3-4 times before they came up with an estimate and each time they assured they'd call me. Finally i waited and waited and knew i'd be rude after waiting 4 days, so i had my boyfriend call them and they were like "oh we faxed it to the insurance company" and I said "you know, i did want to know what's wrong with my car- it's not my insurance company you're faxing." and then the insurance company called today and said they never got the fax anyway.

Between the stress and the heat, it's just sucking the life right out of me- i'm exhausted and i'm not even doing anything! Why oh why can't life be as lovely as playing with makeup? lol. When I get my first paycheck at my new job, I am buying myself something nice! I think i'm going to start with the divine lippie and work my way from there- i think you and gav have convinced me that i *need* mesmerizing too. "Does for plum what hotblooded does for red" enablers you. Maybe my paycheck will arrive around the same time as MOAC 3 wouldn't that be fantastic? lol.

Anyhow, tomorrow should work out the final kinks with the insurance company before i can drive home and i have a bath planned (with sarafina's discontinued bath melt, i stocked up. lol) and maybe a bottle of wine...lol

Things are at least looking up now, Sam! Soon you'll be in PA & starting a new chapter of your life! That's so exciting!

Oh Honey- that all just sounds so miserable- but you will get out to the East Coast- and take over the fashion world!!! I'm glad to hear that you, your friends and family- and your lippies survived! Anyone who can survive all that stress and get through it is destined for great things!

The last time we moved my husband got stung by a bee and we had to drive the U-Haul to the Emergency Room- that was a mess- we didn't even know what address to give them.

We all have moving horror stories. I know it seems a little bumpy now, but you are right that it will all be just a memory soon. Hang in there. You are tough!!!! The last time I moved out of state, I was almost eight months pregnant with an 18 month old in tow. It seems a long time ago, now.

And then...i got food poisoning. And the fan in my laptop died (which i replaced a month ago). Oh it's just downright comical now. I should play the lottery, i just might win. My luck has to change somewhere after all!


On another note...I will be working as a cocktail server at Hollywood Casinos in a few weeks and you all should SEE the uniform. I will have to post a pic. I think some of my more daring SN lippies may be coming out to play. lol.

Just keeping repeating this is all a nightmare and I will wake up and it will be nothing more than a bad memory.

Congrats on your job, so if the more daring lippies need to come out, does that mean that we get to see a more daring side of Sam ?
