Neutral Look Blending Tutorial

Post by Phyrra » Wed Dec 09, 2009 2:41 pm

I wanted to do a blending tutorial for my friends over at Painted-Ladies.com, so I posted this look and blending tutorial to my blog as well as theirs.

The colors I used were Silk Naturals Boom, Idolize and Lurid.

(please excuse the brows, I just got them waxed yesterday and this was done on Sunday, before they were cleaned up)

Eyes:
* Too Faced Shadow Insurance – all over eye area
* Detrivore Primer – on lid and in crease
* Silk Naturals Idolize – on lid and in crease, inner lower lash line
* Silk Naturals Lurid – crease and outer lower lash line
* Silk Naturals Boom – inner corners of eye, inner lid and on browbone to highlight
* Aromaleigh Lash Primer
* Covergirl Mascara in Black Ruby

Nice combo! I usually just do all over Boom and crease it with Idolize, and this kicks it up a notch. Will be trying it soon :)

It's gorgeous. You can highlight with Whisper to make it not so neutral. I love Idolize, it's one of the most versatile shadows I've ever seen.
