Eyeshadow help

Post by ErinL » Mon Dec 07, 2009 5:24 pm

I would like to get three or four colors of eyeshadow that can mix/match with each other (and what I have already) to either do just a wash over my lid, or use a few colors together for a more put-together look.
I already have Superfly, Rizzo, and Pink Twink.
I am a red-head with very fair skin and aqua-blue eyes.

Any suggestions? :D

Idolize will go with Pink Twink, and Rizzo should go with Pink Twink, too. I don't have Superfly, but Groove might be a good one to pair with that from the swatches I've seen.

Wink Wink is a nice coolish silver wash, Mink is a neutral plummy brown with a bit of shimmer but not OTT - I'm a pale redhead myself, and that's a go-to - a lot of browns are overpowering on me and end up as dark smokey even when I don't want them to! Mink doesn't.

Vanilla goes with everything. Fire might be a good colour for you, too - that morphs to a gorgeous copper, but it's not overwhelming, and it'd go nicely with Rizzo I think.

Fairy Dust is a nice one-colour wash if you're pale. Bare and Boom are both great highlight or even wash colours for me, Bare is a bit more shimmery, but they both work well with just about everything. I think Bare would work well as either an all-over base or highlight with what you've got.

The Summer Lovin kit is co-ordinated, so you could pick up Danny, Sandy, and Frenchie and those all go well with Rizzo. If you wanted to keep it simple and not too pricey, that might be the best solution.

Thanks for the ideas!! I think I will try to get the Summer Lovin' collection (all but Rizzo of course), and Mink. And Idolize. And Fire.
Why did I have to start getting addicted to these, again???
