Sleep in a Jar
What's the difference between the original, extra light peach and light peach? I wear Olive Fair from EDM and I have tried Aussie Perk Me Up, Abbott's Perk Me Up, and currently using PMUP to help with my under eye circles, but not completely successful. Any suggestions
TIA

Re: Sleep in a Jar
The original is yellow-toned, so I'd think it's like Sunlight - but I haven't tried it so can't really comment on that.
Peach:
Extra Light is just that: Extra light. Kind of like Aussie but without any shimmer whatsoever, and it's the most beautiful pure peach. I've worn Olive Fair/Light Almond and Extra Light is way too light for me, so it's only for the very palest. It's great as a highlighter on my eyelid/browbone though!
Light is very light, but I'd imagine it to be the right shade for you. It would be perfect on me in winter, when I have a slight tan (like now) it's a touch too light. Again, pure peach without any beige or brown.
Medium is about the same depth as Abbott's and Bisque (PMUP is slightly lighter) and reminds me of Abbott's only that the Medium lacks the orange and muddy color I got from Abbotts. On its own it is too dark for me, but it does wonders for the blue veins I have under my eyes. I get the best result when mixing Medium and Light.
Also, the Sleep in a Jar's texture is wonderful, they don't turn chalky or cakey or powdery, they disappear on the skin but leave the color so you just look rested and fresh and not like you just put on a ton of makeup.

I was wondering that too. If I wear BE Fairly Light, should I get a sample of Light and Medium and then mix them together? Bisque is too pink/red for me. I have to use Summer Bisque but even that turns orange on me if I don't use enough Finishing Dust.
My dark circles aren't blue though. They're like...Wallaby colored. I normally have to do a light color correction using an Olive Fair/Fawn mix that I made and then do my normal foundation and then touch ups with the Bisque over the top of it. Would the peach theory still work for me?

Medium gives better coverage than Light, but Light might be the right depth... probably best to get samples, they last quite a while.
I ended up making my own mix with EDM concealers, after trying ALL of them. PMUP and Bisque were too cool and too dark on their own and Sunlight was too light and the wrong color, and everything that wasn't pearl ended up caking on me, but the pearl ones were too pearly... so I mixed PMUP, PMU Ivory, Bisque, Aussie, Sunlight and Pearl Sunlight - and got something that worked fairly well. While pearl does wonder to hide wrinkles they accentuate (sp?) under-eye bags though so it still wasn't perfect.

I got a sample of the extra light peach and it really does an awesome job at concealing the purple circles I have. They are pretty bad and this stuff works so well. Even my husband said I looked more awake and perky.
I have looked for a product that actually worked for a very, very long time and this is the best I have ever used! When they are really bad I have to put a cream concealer on too and just put this on top. Works beautifully! I am very fair and it matches perfectly!!

What EDM shade do you wear if you don't mind my asking? I wear Olive Fair so I need a reference point.lillypug wrote:I got a sample of the extra light peach and it really does an awesome job at concealing the purple circles I have. Thanks everybody for your input, although, I'm still having a hard time deciding which one I want to sample.

Grab one of each. I think that's what I'm going to do.

I wore 1:1 mix of olive fair and golden fair. I think you should give it a try.AnneShirley wrote:What EDM shade do you wear if you don't mind my asking? Thanks lillypug. I'm definitely putting the extra light peach sample in my cart. BTW, are you currently using SN? If yes, what is your recipe?lillypug wrote:I wore 1:1 mix of olive fair and golden fair. I think you should give it a try.AnneShirley wrote:What EDM shade do you wear if you don't mind my asking? If the Extra Light is too light, you can always darken it a bit with some of the Peach foundation base.
