Silk Naturals colour similar to EDM Monster movie?

Monster movie is an EDM lippy that is kind of a dark brownish purple, I have had a look through the silk natural lippies, and can't find anything that seems similar, can anyone who knows the colour suggest a dupe? I love the colour (it is a strange colour, but looks awesome on me, lol) but don't like the formula.

I'm not really into the browns myself, but when I saw that, I thought of maybe Birthday Suit or Jaybird? Maybe neither is quite dark enough, or maybe you'd want it in the lipstick formula rather than a gloss? I think Monster Movie has a hint of pink? JenW or Xarata would be able to give you better advice.

My guess is Raisin...I don't think it's dead-on, but it's in the same family. The other one you could try if you like browns is Nectar- sheer, but in that same brownish/berry type family.

Thanks Karen, Nectar is in my cart, and raisin is on my wish list, lol! I tend to go for neutral or cooler lip colours though, so am a bit worried that raisin might be too warm, can anyone who has to comment/post a pic?

If you are worried about Nectar being too warm, you might consider Fig Leaf. It is probably not as saturated a color as Monster Movie, but kind of along the same lines..a brownish plum.

How about Eternal? It shows up a bit on the brown/mauve side on my lips and the reviewer on the site said that it's like the lipstick version of Fig Leaf.
