I am answering a few at a time....if you are not on this post...please check my next one. Also, if you feel I have missed your question, I encourage you to pm me with a reminder. I really want to make sure all of the things you have posted have been addressed. I am into two pages right now, and don't want to miss something in flipping back and forth.
Chrystalyte,
You can try SIAJ Light...I think the Extra Light will be too light...You can also try lightening the SIAJ Medium you have with some Ivory foundation base.
meimei91,
I am thinking mostly Ebony with possibly some Warm Gold.......Start with Ebony 1 scoop color: 9 scoops White. If you decided it needs a little yellow.....add a half scoop Warm Gold plus another 5 or so Ivory. Let usknow how it goes! You have amazing hair, BTW.

Karli,
You are right in the guess of Ebony.....I am thinking 1 scoop color : 10 White.
robinbird_22 gave excellent suggestions for blush. I only want to add that Flirt is a must have for someone with your skintone.
For lipstick.....I am going to suggest the Organic Gloss. I think Nectar and Fig Leaf would be good suggestions that won't be too overpowering. Lipsticks are opaque and offer a definite punch of color. The glosses will add a hint of color without being too much.
robinbird_22
When moving to heavier coverage, it works out best to just subtract a few of the whites.
If original is 1:14.....medium is around 1:11 or 12......heavy is around 1:8 to 10

BFA-
I do think you need just a tad of Warm Gold, but what you have on in the pic looks very good....Rhys's idea to try it out is exactly right, or you will always wonder....many of us love to play around with our formula until we get our perfect match. If the trial with the small amount of Warm Gold was not quite right, you can always add that small amount in a larger batch of your Ebony mix and it won't result in a foundation loss. You really have nothing to lose!
nory87,
I think Warm gold at first glance. 1 scoop Warm Gold : around 6 White. You just use the small scoop. I level off the powders on the side of the sample baggies, and then tap the contents into the jar. Once you have all the scoops in there, add the lid and shake it up...vigorously. Then you should be able to test it with a brush. If you need more help than that, we are certainly here for you!

Re: Need Foundation Help? Please post here.......
Okay, my turn. I am stumped because I am having a hard time getting before and after pictures with the same lighting. But, here I am without any foundation on, outside, but in indirect light:

Here I am, in about the same light, with my current attempt at the right mix of foundation:

I had originally started with 2Ebony:11Ivory, but after using that combination for a couple days, I kept feeling like it was just tad too pink, so I added less than half a scoop of Warm Gold, and then another scoop of Ivory because it was too dark. I don't really know what my ratio is at this point because I added the WG and the extra Ivory to a partial batch. So, I kind of think I might be close, but I am so confused and can't tell if I should really trust my mirrors and my camera.
(I have been wearing Buff Perfect in EDM, which was a total shock to me when I figured out it was a good match because I always thought I was cool toned.)

Ladybug....
I think it is still a bit too dark. I also don't think you are cool toned....I do see pink, but it is in the usual places for flushed skin. You are pretty neutral as far as I can tell. Do you know what Buff Perfect is a mix of? Is it FLN and FL, or is there some olive in there? Don't worry...I used to think I was cool toned and matched my foundation to the pinkness from my cheeks. I am going to go way out here....Do you have an Olive sample? I kind of think the slight green will help balance the flushed look. If you can do a half scoop, try .5Olive:8 Ivory. It is a total experiment, but I don't see much yellow, much warm, or much pink that we want to match. That kind of just leaves Olive, and it makes sense to at least give it a shot.
For what you have mixed thus far...2Ebony:11Ivory sounds like a darkish beginning for you. One thing to remember, you will be unable to match foundation by looking at the powder in the jars. Ours generally looks much lighter in the jar, even though it is a match on the skin. Even with the addition of a little Warm Gold, it would need to go lighter than a scoop or two more white. If you think those colors were close, try 1Ebony:.5Warm gold:10Ivory. It should look light when going on the skin, but kind of meld with your skin in about 20 minutes.

Olive, huh? Interesting. I do have a sample, so I will give it a try and see what happens.
I do need to learn a little patience and wait that twenty minutes to see what happens as the shade melds with my skin. I see the initial paleness and get panicky that it looks too chalky. But, you are right, I got home from being out this afternoon and I looked a bit dark.

Hi Jen! I was reading on the site that Meow Chartreux would be a mix of warm gold and buttery gold? I match sleek chartreux from Meow. Here is a photo of me in direct sunlight. What color mix should I start with? I appreciate the help!

Hi Diana,
I think I might know where you were reading about the Buttery plus Warm to equal Chartreux (reminds self to edit that!)....but that was written before the Yellow Color Booster was added to the line. I think you will be a Warm Gold:Yellow Color Booster:Ivory mix. I would start with Warm Gold......Sleek will be about 1Warm Gold : 6-8 Ivory...then add one Yellow Booster and 1-2 more Ivory. It will take a little playing to get it exactly right, but if Chartreux is a perfect match, you should be good with the Warm Gold, Yellow Booster, and a few sample pouches of Ivory to find your mix. Just make sure you buy one of the Ivorys in a kit so you get the scoop and jar.
