So happy I am about to burst!

Post by AgnesONutter » Thu Nov 26, 2009 6:29 pm

I'm so happy I am about to burst out in song and dance, and so anxious at the same time I feel like a black hole, and since everyone else is asleep already I just had to share it with someone.

My boyfriend told me he thinks he is in it for the long haul!

I still don't know quite what to feel. My breath just got caught in my throat, and still is, my heart is beating like the heavy metal drummer from hell and my legs definitely cannot carry me. All I want to do is kiss him, and hold him, and hear him say it again and say it back.

At the same time, the thought of the long haul! The thought of one day moving from my family home, away from the security I've always known. I do want to. Though a big part of me is feeling like crying at the thought. The thought of one day, actually having him propose. Of marrying him. Of having a family of my own...all these thoughts are of course rushing way ahead of where we stand right now, at this moment. But, oh! Just having my thoughts put in words, to know that right now, at this moment, he lays in his bed and loves me as much as I love him...it is harder to grasp, harder to really understand than any theory I have ever read. And still, so natural, so reasonable, so easy to grasp...

I need to get pen and paper, and write for a bit or read or something and try not to thin about it, or I will never be able to go to sleep. But oh, how can I?

I'm sorry, I just had to share it with someone right now. :D

Bless you, sweetheart. The reason we live only one day at a time is so that we do not rob ourselves of the joy of being totally immersed in the kind of happiness you feel right now. Don't try to rush ahead and take on too many thoughts of tomorrow. Feel free to dream, of course - and those dreams are always sweeter in reality even with lifes ups and downs. Don't try to think about it, just let yourself 'be' rather than process and strive to understand, just feel and experience. But today, right where you are, let yourself float in that most precious experience of being truly, unconditionally loved.

I completely agree with Cupcake's eloquently stated reply. :D All the material things in this world do not truly matter. Experiencing this moment is one of the most precious gifts one can ever receive.

I'll just third... fourth... fifth... whatever I am now... that "aww!"

BTW Agnes, did you ever receive the package I sent you from the group order? The "other forum" was turned off before it would have gotten to you.

Yes, I did receive the package. And I've had lots of fun with it (Silver Bells is everything I wished Angel's Trumpet had been and then some). And it was very nicely packaged (and good thing I got Bouquet since they are now selling their stock out). Thank you!

Though, I was convinced I had ordered a full size of the Intensive Fair Concealer. I probably just thought long and hard about it, and decided not to in the end. Sometimes I do things like that. Like the time I was convinced I had a full bottle of my favourite toner in my "stock" box, but had actually given it to my sister a while ago.

Nope, I still have my handy-dandy list of items, names, addresses, and totals in my wallet, and concealer definately isn't on it. If you want me to forward you the paypal e-mail where you paid me that shows the total matches what the products on my list come to, I can do that just so you know you didn't pay for and not receive anything. Just let me know.

No need to do that at all. I was just surprised, that's all. I think I ended up opting for the flattop instead of the concealer. You know, at times, I am even surprised I have packages in the mail. That is how forgetful I can be. I am still really, really happy you did put together the group order, and just did the loveliest eye shadow look with Raw Sugar, Floating Feathers and my Blacktrack eye liner. :)
