I recall a year or so ago when I made my first purchase with Silk Naturals. I knew it was a fairly new mineral makeup company and people were raving about SN's lippies. I put in my order through Paypal and when I hit the Submit button it said I was going to pay to
Good Clean Fun.
I remember thinking to myself "Whoa, was I just redirected to a hardcore adult site and not know it?!!!"
A few days later I was eagerly anticipating my package from Silk Naturals. I was so excited to find a package in the mail but it wasn't labeled Silk Naturals. It had something about "Reading" (I can't recall now) However, when I opened the package it was indeed from Silk Naturals.
I am just really curious why all the different names.

Yes.....Speed Your Read is what comes on the packages.
Well, Karen and her husband also own a speed reading software company. They use the same software to ship for both companies and Speed Your Read came first. Their corporate name is Good Clean Fun. Lots of the online makeup companies have something similar, as well as the big guys. Think of how many companies are owned by Estee Lauder.

Thanks for the reply JenW.
I order from many small indie companies and Silk Naturals is the only one that I've seen that use different names.
Yes, Estee Lauder owns many different companies but when I buy something that is owned by Estee Lauder, say for example, Clinique I get the Clinique brand on the box not Estee Lauder.
I was just curious.

LOL, the Good Clean Fun kinda startled me at first too. My credit card bill goes back home to my parents, and what if they asked my sister what "Good Clean Fun" was?

You know, it never crossed my mind that Good Clean Fun was anything but 'clean'. You guys are so funny!

And I've been living under a rock!

It's because I've had the same Paypal account for 10 years, and used to be a soap maker. They won't let me change the name, and it bugs me too. One of these days I'll figure out how to change the return address in the shipping software. The system that we use is really great when it's chugging along, but messing with the settings is a bear.

Ahhh, that totally makes sense now! Good Clean Fun = soaps! I didn't know you made soaps way back when.

Do you still make your own soaps for personal use Karen? I make CP soaps and don't think my skin would stand for store bought anymore.
