My question got buried in another thread, but - I want another pink lippie. And I don't have either Bloom or Soft. Would some kind soul (Egerandi, maybe, cos I know you collect pinks) or anyone else who does, show me the difference between these two?
From the swatches I'm guessing Bloom is a bit lighter coloured and more opaque, and Soft is maybe a bit more like Beloved? Do I need both of them?
Anyone?
Bloom and Soft
Re: Bloom and Soft
Bloom is more Barbie Pink, Soft is closer to Breathless but minus the brown. Soft is rosier.

Re: Bloom and Soft
Totally what Jen said. I also noticed (to confirm what you suspected) that Bloom seems just a bit more opaque on my lips, like a bit a la 60s or 70s fashion, while Soft is more of a light pink wash. One of the ladies actually did a FOTD with Bloom showing as the lipstick of Uhura, the Star Trek lady: http://soloverly.blogspot.com/2009/05/c ... -silk.html
Re: Bloom and Soft
Thanks, guys, but now I'm thinking I want both of them! I do appreciate the run-down, though.
Re: Bloom and Soft
Hehe, sounds good! They are really different, so I'm sure you'll find use for both.
Re: Bloom and Soft
Bloom is more of an opaque pale pink and soft is a sheerer more intense hued pink

Re: Bloom and Soft
Thanks, Sam - Soft looks red on you to me. Is it my monitor?
