the neutrogena foam stuff does work and it's easier to get rubbed in evenly than some of the lotions- whatever you use, make sure you wash your hands really well afterwards as they can turn orange. If you DO happen to turn orange by accident- rub some whitening toothpaste over your skin, the peroxide in it will lighten the tan.

I recommend the spray tan from a salon on such short notice. The good ones that are DIY (IMO the ones that build color more gradually look better) take too many applications to look good. I am also notorious for doing a bad job on the application (especially on the back and shoulders).

The salon I found does it by appt only, and I've yet to hear back from them. It costs $55 or $40 each if I go with the BF (who's paler and pinker than me, save the farmer tan). Honestly, I don't want anything bronzy or brown, I just want an even glow, so I'm not ghostly. I don't have a problem with being pale usually, just when it looks scary white on the legs :D

I'l try the gradual ones now, and I'll keep the spray tan as a backup option for Friday. Thanks ladies!

Yes do!! For both face and body!! I have been checking EWG's Cosmetic Database, a good, safe, self tanner would be amazing!

I ended up using Nivea's sunkissed as that was the only one available in my store in light. I was worried about moving too fast and going with the medium. It worked nicely, cut the ghostliness of the legs just fine. Now, I'll just sit tight and wait for Karen's stuff :)

Any news on the self tanner?

Best non-orange tan: http://www.amazon.com/2009-Gelato-Cream ... 186&sr=1-1

Best tan overall: http://www.amazon.com/Australian-Gold-T ... 208&sr=1-2
I am sure that other lotions from the premium tanning salon lines are good too. This is just the one I liked the best.

Best gradual tan: http://www.amazon.com/Designer-Skin-Ext ... 25&sr=8-20

I recently found: Nature's Gate Tanagement Self Tanning Creme

A bit more on the natural side without parabens, the lowest smell of any I have ever tried- even after 24 hours- and the smell disappeared after showering (something most others do not do on me). The color is a tad bit on the orange side at first (I am very pale), but the orange goes away after showering.

Did this get sold in the summer? Guess I got here too late :( But I would definitely buy some summer or winter!!
But I'd mostly prefer it for my face on a regular basis, and probably my legs once every few weeks.

Not that I know of, but I'd still like to see it. I use self-tanner year-round.

My legs are basically flourescent light beams!

I'm generally quite pale, and I've heard of girls applying foundation/fake tan/bronzer on their legs to make it look flawless and soft, but I don't know if this would work for me. I don't want orange or brown legs!

If you could make some form of self-tanner that will tackle these problems I would be so darn happy.
