Not Jen, and she may disagree, but you look like a Very light olive to me without your makeup on. You probably want a full bag of ivory, because you're pale - and I know Olive runs darker, so maybe around 12 ivory to 1 olive to start? Possibly a touch of the zinc powder under your foundation to even out the redness.

The almond doesn't look right on you somehow - not horrible or anything, but just a tad off. if I were going by that, I'd probably say Buttery Gold, but that foundation doesn't seem to quite match your undertone.

yeah i always felt that the sweet almond was off... not by much but something was slightly not right... and in some lights with almond i look very yellow or very orange... or just pale... but thanks! I know i have olive undertone, but the sweet almond didn't seem like a true olive shade. My sister has this natural olive ashiness that looks like she walked out of italy. and i know i have the same skin tones, but nothing i use is that true to olive skin tone!

I tried SN foundation about six months ago. I was too shy to post a picture to ask for help so I just gave up. Now I'd like to try again. This picture was taken outside with no makeup on:

Thanks for your help.

Never tried doing this with a chin before, but I'd say start at about 8 original formula ivory to 1 ebony - you may have to darken it a tad, but I think that would about suit.

Pick up a sample of Warm Gold just in case I'm missing something there (it's only 99 cents) - but you look pretty cool in the picture.

I just ordered my Perfect Harmony Sample KIt on Sunday.
Pls help me to mix my correct foundation recipe.
I usually use EDM Buff - Fairly Light Neutral, but I think it's a bit too white for me.
I prefer a bit golden tan look.
Thank you.

heavenlyfox-
I think Rhys is right......Olive looks about right. If the Almond is turning orange by the end of the day it is either too yellow or too dark. Olive runs pretty dark as a color base. I would start at about 1:12-14.

Our Olive is formulated as a slight Olive undertone. For those that are very Olive, they will need the Green Color Booster.

moonbows-
Rhys has given the best starting point. If the colors she suggested are not quite right we may need to look at Peach.

Warm Gold and Ebony.......I am thinking 1 Warm Gold plus 1 Ebony plus about 12 to 14 Ivory.

So I received my Perfect Harmony sample kit today and before I make a total mess I thought I'd ask for your input. I never really got a perfect match with EDM. Right now Buff Linen is as close as it gets, but I still think it's a bit to yellow. I can also use Olive Fair (a bit ashy), Beige Sunkissed Fair (to beige/pink) and a mix of Buff fairly summer and Buff Ivory.

The picture shows me in all my glory ;) I'm a bit flushed, just got out of the shower. In my avatar I'm using Sunkissed Fair and the other pic is the fairly summer/ivory mix.
