Good to see you girls over hear. I just started using SN and I can say I so far I am very impressed!! I got my first SN gloss last week and EDM's don't even compare. With EDM's my lips dried out and the lippie got dry and you had to use it on your hand before your lips to "soften" it. Well I ordered Breathless and it is FANTASTIC. I can't wait to see how much you love all of the ones you ordered!! I still love some of EDMs products, but I will never buy another lippie there after trying SN's!!

Hello! I'm not sure if this goes here but thought creating a new thread was a bit over the top so here I go! I have both EDM glosses in Soccer Practice and Spring Berries and I really like the colors but the application is dry. I have to warm them up before they apply smoothly Are there SN glosses that are very similar to those?

I have these in my cart for now:
Cultured
Berry Crush
Rare Berry
Berry Nice
Precious

And I have Maiden and Breathless on the way! *excited*

Are any of them too similar to have? I like all the swatches but I don't think I need this many. ):

Hi and welcome! That picture has three of your choices side by side. They're not too similar. Precious is a must-own. There's a picture earlier on this thread with Precious near to Berry Crush in close up, too.

Soccer Practice and Spring Berries? Hmm... I'll have a think. I've borrowed a section of a swatch photo originally posted by DianaG here so that folks here can make a colour comparison:

Soccer Practice looks pink but I've also seen swatches of it looking like a coral toned down with beige-nude. Spring Berries could almost be a diluted version of Black Dahlia. I'm really not sure what to suggest but someone will have an idea soon, no doubt.

^ Thank you! I wanted to narrow down to only a few but it feels impossible. They're all so beautiful and different. I'll stick around in case more suggestions roll in. (:

I am also looking for a creamer version of Soccer Practice, I tried Cultured. I just put it on for a few minutes tonight since I just got it. It is very pretty, but a touch browner than Soccer Practice. I posted pictures in the thread I just made. Like I said there, I'm going to use it up :)

If cultured is too brown, try Centerfold. I think it has a tad more pink, but still very nude.

I got my order!!!! Here's some pictures:

I meant to change the SN shadows to black, but I did a whoopsie. They are so so pretty, and I love all the glosses. I should have just got CC OR SF, not both. Very Berry was a free sample, and it makes a really nice "night" gloss when I put a bit of Breathless over it. They all smell/taste amazing, very little wax undercurrent at all. I could eat the peppermint and devil's food cake black lippies. They are a gajillion times nicer than EDM's.

Breathless is definitely MLBB, and Fig Leaf is a bit darker, still the perfect tone. Based on this, should I change any of the glosses in my cart?

Original and Sapphire made me screech, they are such lovely multidimensional shadows! Thank you so much Karen, you are so generous and seem to really care about your customers.

Oh my, BFA, your Silk Naturals haul looks quite exquisite! I am very excited about getting my order now :) What are your favorites amongst what you got?

The only SN lippie I have is Foreplay, which is beautiful, but may be slightly too warm for me (though honestly, I don't care, it's a pretty color and a nice formula so I wear it). I've got Rhapsody on it's way to me, and Nector in my cart, and I think both of those will be much more flattering on me. I ordered my Foreplay lippie back in August of 2008 though--have they been reformulated a bit? Cause mine doesn't smell or taste like anything.

Awesome, great haul. In my other thread it's Pink Lemonaide that I say is my fav pink lip stick. I love it. But it's drying. But I love how it completely cancels my lip color, yet is so pretty and really, as much as it looks like something from the 80s, it's modern. They're baaaccckkk. So yeah, I'll stop raving now and buy Breathless :) And Centerfold :)

Thanks ladies. they're all amazing products. The only ones I wouldn't get more of when I run out are the wands. I had to twist up the Peppermint black label twice during my shift tonight!

Breathless doesn't have the lightening effect on me like PL does, it is almost exactly the same shade as my lips, which is really nice as I have a scar and it covers it perfectly without having to worry about the dreaded feathering.
